In 2018,the "Education Informationization 2.0 Action Plan" formulated by the Ministry of Education proposed to adhere to the integration of information technology and education.In 2020,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the "Overall Plan for Deepening the reform of Education Evaluation in the New Era",which proposes to improve middle school teaching evaluation,strengthen the application of evaluation results in teaching,and promote the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education.This gives us great enlightenment,that is,to promote the reform of education evaluation through information technology.As a part of biology,extracurricular practice activities in biology have their unique characteristics,their evaluation is also different from general classroom teaching evaluation,but in the actual implementation,it is difficult to achieve the expected evaluation objectives.Therefore,in order to better achieve the evaluation goals of extracurricular activities in biology and give full play to the advantages of information technology,it is necessary to apply information technology to the evaluation of extracurricular activities in biology.In this paper,the literature method is used to analyze the research background and current research status at home and abroad;on this basis,the questionnaire survey and interview are used to investigate the current situation of the evaluation of junior middle school biology extracurricular practice activities,and the main problems in the current evaluation are summarized;analyze the "Biology" textbook of the Shandong Science and Technology Press,summarize the extracurricular activities in the textbook,and divide them into three types according to the characteristics of activities and evaluation requirements of the activities,including observation records and survey visits,inquiry experiment and cultivation,biological works production,according to the types of activities,the basic principles,strategies and implementation procedures of the evaluation of biological extracurricular activities based on information technology are proposed;Design the case according to the evaluation strategy and implement it;Finally,the effectiveness of the evaluation strategy is verified through the effect analysis.Through this study,it is concluded that the evaluation of extracurricular biological activities based on information technology is feasible and effective.According to the classification of extracurricular practice activities in biology,combined with the functions and advantages of information technology,the evaluation strategy can realize the process,timeliness and efficiency of extracurricular practice activities evaluation,and can promote the overall development and personality development of students.Students’ interest and enthusiasm for participating in activities will enhance their ability to analyze and solve problems.With the continuous deepening of education reform and the continuous development of information technology,it is necessary to continue to explore the advantages of information technology in the future and explore more scientific and reasonable evaluation methods for extracurricular biological activities.
