The report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that "to take the establishment of morality as the basic task of education,to cultivate socialist builders and successors with the overall development of morality,wisdom,physical and physical beauty".The development of morality,wisdom,physical,good work and labour is an important standard of education and training objectives.To carry out education in schools,we should insist on the combination of five education and moral education as the first.High school is an important stage to connect higher education and the key period of moral education.The effective development of moral education in high school needs to be coordinated and made joint efforts.Based on the discussion of the connotation,objectives and methods of moral education in high school,this paper takes two ordinary high schools and two vocational high schools in Haiyan County as the survey object and uses questionnaire survey and personal interview to investigate the current situation of moral education in Haiyan County.Through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of high school moral education in Haiyan County,the paper deeply grasps the effectiveness and existing problems of high school moral education,and then explore the possible factors affecting the effectiveness of high school moral education,and finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the effectiveness of high school moral education.From junior high school to high school,students’ independent ability is enhanced,but their mind is not fully mature,world outlook,outlook on life and values have not been established and still have strong plasticity.At present,moral education in high school has made great progress,but there is still a gap with the goal set out in the outline of moral education in middle school.Some high school students still have some problems such as poor moral quality,lack of ideal and belief,weak legal consciousness and poor political literacy.The reasons for the above problems are many aspects: one is that the environment,content and method of family moral education are insufficient,which leads to the failure to play a good role in guiding the foundation;the second is that the teaching method of school moral education emphasizes theory and practice,and the imperfect moral education evaluation system affects the moral education effect of the school;third,due to the factors of academic pressure,self-cultivation and self-training of high school students The consciousness is not strong,and the main role is not enough.Therefore,to improve the effectiveness of moral education in high school,we must improve the existing problems from three dimensions: family,school and senior high school students,including improving the family moral education environment,optimizing the content and method of family moral education;improving the school moral education method,broadening the moral education way,strengthening the moral education joint force;strengthening the students’ moral awareness and promoting students to strengthen self-cultivation.
