With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology,artificial intelligence education,as a course or teaching content,has entered the stage of basic education and become a research hotspot in the field of education.The learning goal of artificial intelligence education in junior high school is to experience,and understand the principle of intelligent technology in the process of experience.Therefore,how to design and carry out the learning activities of basic artificial intelligence in junior high school has become a practical problem that needs to be studied and solved.Based on the design of learning activities,this paper studies how to design learning activities to achieve the learning goal of "getting learning experience and understanding the principle of intelligent technology" in the real teaching environment.This study starts with the analysis of literature,summarizes the research status of artificial intelligence education and learning activity design as curriculum or learning content,and confirms the feasibility and necessity of the research.Secondly,combining with activity theory,this paper analyzes the elements of learning activity design and its overall activity process,and on this basis,combining with the characteristics of the research content,preliminarily determines the design elements of learning activity in this study.Then we design the learning activities for the selected module of the sixth volume of "basic artificial intelligence" of Qingdao edition,and carry out three rounds of action research in the practice school.After each round of research,we observe,reflect and summarize,so as to improve the next round of learning activity design.Finally,by analyzing the results of the guide list,classroom video,interview and questionnaire survey,it is concluded that the learning activity design of "basic artificial intelligence" can stimulate students' interest in learning,improve students' participation in learning,understand the principles of intelligent technology on the basis of good experience,and form a better classroom learning atmosphere.In order to better achieve the learning objectives of basic artificial intelligence in junior high school,based on the practical experience of three rounds of action research,it is suggested that the teaching of basic artificial intelligence in junior high school should adhere to the design of learning activities as the center,determine the appropriate design elements of learning activities according to the learning content,first determine the theme or content of learning,then carry out learner analysis and objectives Analysis,then determine the activity and activity sequence design,design the learning situation,activity form and how to evaluate the learning activity.The designed learning situation should fit the students' life and learning,the evaluation strategy should be as diverse as possible,and the impact of computer and environment should be reduced during the implementation of the activity.
