Research On The Construction Path Of First-class Disciplines In Local Universities With Industry Characteristics

In the early 1950s,a number of institutions of higher learning with distinctive industrial characteristics emerged in China,which to some extent met the needs of early national economic recovery and social construction and development.In the late 1990 s,the higher education management system began to reform,and the colleges and universities with industrial characteristics were separated from the former ministries and commissions and delegated to local management.While these colleges and universities have made outstanding contributions to the national economic construction and national defense modernization,there are also some difficulties,such as the weakening of industrial characteristics,the unreasonable layout of disciplines and the lack of obvious characteristics of talent cultivation.In 2015,the country implemented the "Double Tops" strategy,bringing new development opportunities to higher education.Local colleges and universities with industrial characteristics are also striving for high-quality development,and the quality of talent training is gradually improving.On the road of continuous construction and development of local colleges and universities with industrial characteristics,it is worth thinking about how to seize the opportunity and strive to become a university with first-class disciplines through the construction of superior and characteristic disciplines.This article takes an industry-specific local university in Jiangsu Province as the research object.Under the guidance of core competitiveness theory and growth pole theory,it uses research methods such as case study method and literature analysis method to sort out the school's selection in the process of first-class discipline construction.The reason,the content of the construction,the effectiveness of the construction and the problems existing in the construction process.Start with the existing problems and analyze the restrictive factors.Finally,starting from the central government level,local government level,and local university level,it will provide reference opinions for the construction of first-class disciplines in local universities with industry characteristics,and take a development path that suits them.
