As the basic unit of school teaching,class is an important part of school organization.After years of research and exploration,the primary school class management has achieved gratifying achievements both in theoretical research and practical exploration,which also greatly improves the level of class management.In the whole primary school stage,the group of senior grade is relatively special.The children in this stage are gradually becoming mature,which is an important over period,both at the physical and psychological level.Therefore,it is very important that the school fully understand the characteristics of the senior students in primary school and take corresponding class management measures,which is the basis of all education work.This paper chooses s primary school in Urumqi as the research object,adopts a qualitative research paradigm,and uses a variety of specific methods such as interviews,observations,and physical analysis to describe and present the current situation of senior class management in S primary school in Urumqi.And analyzes the existing problems and the causes of the problems,and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the management level of the senior grades of the primary school on this basis.The study found that there are the following main problems in the current situation of the management of the upper grades of S Primary School in Urumqi:Narrowed management goals,simplification of the management subject,lack of content management,management method is solidified.Through further observations and interviews,the reasons for the above main problems are found to be as follows:Lack of professional knowledge of teachers,teachers don’t have a good understanding of the role of header teacher,poor academic foundation students,high mobility of teachers and students,I nsufficient home-school cooperation.Based on the study of the case school,the enlightenment and suggestions for the management of the senior grades of the primary school are as follows: Teachers’ level,need to improve class management level in terms of theoretical knowledge,class management concepts,class management methods,self-emotion management,etc;School level,take a multi-pronged approach,adopt systematic training and policy incentives to improve the quality of the header teacher team;Household level,fully mobilize the enthusiasm of parents to cater for home-school management;Level education authorities,adopt a variety of policies to stabilize the teaching team.
