| At present,the macro development goal of compulsory education in China is to establish a healthy educational ecosystem,emphasizing students’ physical and mental health,which is significantly different from traditional educational concepts in the past.Primary education,as a key component of compulsory education,also needs to change traditional educational concepts,follow the national macro policy guidance of "double reduction",focus on quality education,and attach importance to the physical and mental health development of individual students.Therefore,higher requirements are put forward for the environment of primary school classes,which means that breakthrough changes must be made in primary school class management.At the same time,as elementary school seniors have just entered puberty,compared to other age groups of elementary school students,class management in elementary school seniors is more unique and crucial.The individual physical and mental development speed of primary school senior students is extremely fast,and their secondary sexual characteristics are initially revealed.The changes in their physical and mental health bring them more new feelings,making them more likely to be excited or bored,and more prone to one-sided thinking or wrong behavior in situations where their physical and mental health are constantly changing.So as frontline educators such as schools and teachers,we must attach importance to relevant work.This article first briefly introduces the macro social and policy background of the research,such as the development strategy of education modernization,the policy guidance of "double reduction" in compulsory education.At the same time,it summarizes relevant research on class management in primary schools at home and abroad,and provides a concise introduction to core concepts such as class,primary school seniors,and class management,establishing a good theoretical basis for research.Secondly,this article selects senior primary school students in Q City as an actual research case,and conducts a detailed survey of their class management status using questionnaires,interviews,and other methods(specifically involving the basic personal status of class teachers,management ideas,development goals,management systems,and many other contents).Based on the results of the survey,in-depth research was conducted on the problems in class management in senior primary schools in Q City,summarizing the performance of the problems and analyzing the causes of the problems under the guidance of mature theories and research.Specific issues include the lack of democracy in the management of senior classes in primary schools in Q City,the lack of class activities,and obstacles to communication.The main reasons for the problems are conservative and backward management ideas and measures,monotonous and poor campus life,and low levels of family school co education.Finally,based on the existing problems and specific causes of senior class management in Q City’s primary schools,targeted optimization suggestions are proposed to clarify the principal position of the class teacher himself,strengthen the mastery of students’ personal situation,implement democratic management,strengthen class activities,enrich campus life,improve the level of home school co education,and provide reference for improving the quality of senior class management for domestic primary school students. |
