| Physics is a natural science based on observation and experiment.Middle school physics teaching pays more and more attention to experiment.Self-made teaching aids are important physics curriculum resources.In order to achieve the goal of cultivating students’ physics core literacy,stimulate students’ interest in learning physics,and promote teachers to actively develop and use low-cost and high wisdom teaching tools,we study the application of self-made teaching aids in middle school physics mechanics teaching.Using the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview,this thesis makes a preliminary analysis of the mechanical physics experiment and self-made teaching aids,and finds that the application of self-made teaching aids in middle school physics classroom teaching is not optimistic.On the basis of literature analysis and investigation,combined with the theory of "learning by doing" and "Tower of experience",the requirements of physics curriculum standards and teaching practice,this thesis puts forward the making and Application Strategies of mechanics teaching aids.The strategy for making aids include:(1)According to the needs of teaching,make teaching aids reasonably.(2)Follow the basic principles and make teaching aids scientifically.(3)Master basic methods and make teaching aids effectively.(4)Build up a team,create opportunities to make self-made teaching aids.The applying strategy includes:(1)Rational use of teaching aids to highlight the value of Education.(2)Encourage students to participate,increase the efficiency of teaching.(3)Optimizing the experiment with the help of IT.(4)Have a profound understanding of physical principles by using series of teaching aids.(5)Pay attention to the preservation of teaching aids to make good use of them.According to the actual teaching needs,combined with the relevant theoretical basis and strategies,we preliminarily discussed the application of self-made teaching aids in mechanics from four aspects: new lesson introduction,new lesson teaching,classroom expansion and after class activities.The researcher has developed six effective mechanics teaching cases:(1)Serial teaching aids of pressure.(2)Serial teaching aids of flow pressure and speed-flow relationship.(3)Teaching aids of“Heron’s fountain”.(4)Demonstrator of the inertia of a gas.(5)Demonstrator of Static Friction.(6)Gravity work prober.The common characteristics of these teaching aids are as follows: taking daily supplies,low cost,simple operation,high success rate,obvious experimental effect,can visualize the abstract physics knowledge,enhance students’ perceptual knowledge,and promote the cultivation and development of students’ physics core literacy.In order to test the application effect of mechanics teaching aids in middle school physics classroom,this study selected two senior one classes to carry out a one month comparative experiment.It also makes a comparative study from three aspects:Students’ test scores,classroom performance and feedback after class,The results show that the application of self-made mechanical teaching aids in middle school physics classroom can stimulate students’ interest in learning,correct their attitude towards learning physics,increase the charm of physics classroom and improve the quality of physics teaching.It is expected that this study can provide some reference for the majority of physics educators and researchers,so that self-made teaching aids can play a more important role in physics education. |
