"Chinese core literacy" includes aspects such as "language construction and application","thinking development and improvement","aesthetic appreciation and creation" and "cultural inheritance and understanding".These aspects include not only explicit abilities and behavior patterns such as knowledge,ability and methods,but also internal qualities such as emotion,personal habits and experience cultivation.Chinese core literacy covers language ability,language learning habits and methods,as well as knowledge vision,emotional attitude,thinking quality and other dimensions.Language competence is the core and basis of Chinese core literacy,and other elements promote each other.Language ability is reflected in the process of language learning,listening,speaking,reading and writing.In compulsory education stage in the process of language ability,teachers are widely use all kinds of content and form of teaching to improve students' ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing,the story as a kind of popular literature for the students,focus on the description on the development of the plot,not only aesthetic value and meaning of education,and is a very good carrier of cultivating students' language ability.The story originated from real life,narrating vivid and instructive events with situational,interesting and meaningful characteristics.The basic principles to cultivate students' language ability by using stories as the carrier are as follows:insist on students as the main body of the class,actively create language situation,closely connect with students'real life,timely activate the language growth point.Through the investigation,it is found that the current compulsory education takes stories as the carrier to train students' language ability,but there are many problems,such as low frequency of stories,few opportunities of language expression,insufficient story content,limited language training,inflexible education methods,and the derailment of teaching and concept.Collective teaching is dominant and the cultivation form is not suitable.Aiming at the above problems,this paper innovatively puts forward the teaching strategy of cultivating students' language ability by using stories as the carrier.To cultivate students' language ability through different story types such as fairy tale,myth,character story and folk story.Take stories as the carrier to train students' listening and expression ability,reading ability and writing ability,and improve students' language ability in an all-round way.In teaching,students' language thinking ability can be trained by integrating and contrasting the content of stories.Through the interception and reorganization of the story content,enrich and strengthen the students' language perception ability;Through the horizontal and vertical expansion of the narrative space,improve students' language innovation ability.
