Teachers' professional identity refers to teachers' acceptance and recognition of their own work from the heart,so as to make a positive evaluation of all aspects of their own profession.It is teachers' subjective psychological feelings about their own profession.Higher professional identity of teachers has a good role in promoting the development of school teaching.The existing research pays less attention to the professional identity of physical education teachers,and the professional identity of physical education teachers has very practical significance for the development of school physical education.The level of professional identity affects the development of school physical education.As the basic stage of basic education,primary school is the key stage for students to develop lifelong sports awareness.Physical education teachers' good professional identity will make them have a better degree of investment in their work and play a positive role in promoting students' learning and their own development.This study investigated the professional identity of primary school PE teachers in Chengdu and its influencing factors.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,expert interview and mathematical statistics,a total of 534 primary school physical education teachers in different circles of schools in Chengdu were investigated.Through statistical analysis of the collected data,the status quo of primary school physical education teachers' professional identity in Chengdu and the differences of its influencing factors under different backgrounds were analyzed to find out the existing problems and put forward constructive suggestions.Research conclusions:(1)the overall level of professional identity of primary school physical education teachers in Chengdu is relatively good.(2)The professional identity of primary school physical education teachers in Chengdu has a very significant difference under different age,different teaching age,different professional title and different circle division variables.There is no significant difference in the variables of teachers' gender,school nature,teachers' educational background,teachers' monthly salary,whether they are administrative posts and whether they are normal students' graduation.(3)Professional identity will gradually increase with the increase of teachers' age and teaching age.The professional identity of PE teachers without professional titles is lower than that of PE teachers with professional titles,and the level of professional titles does not significantly affect the professional identity of PE teachers.The professional identity of physical education teachers in different regions shows the distribution of one circle > two circles > three circles.Suggestions:(1)on the premise of a good overall level of professional identity,stimulate teachers' subjective initiative,so that they can independently form the spirit of love and dedication.(2)Establish a mechanism to stimulate the growth of primary school physical education teachers with different professional titles,ages,teaching years and educational levels.(3)We will further implement relevant national policies and continue to pay more attention to physical education teachers on the basis of paying attention to school physical education.
