Teachers' professional identity refers to teachers' recognition of their own careers,and positive work attitudes and behaviors displayed at work,it is a dynamic and constantly changing psychological process.The adaptation period,as the initial stage of a teacher's career,affects the direction of future career development.At present,there are very few researches on the novice teachers' professional identity in China.The research on the novice teachers is in the initial stage.Therefore,this study explores the professional identity and influential factors of novice middle school Physical Education(PE)teachers in a quantitative way,in order to summarize its characteristics and laws,and further finds promotion strategies,which enriches the related research in the field of novice teachers? professional identity.This research is divided into the following six parts: The first part is to find the theoretical basis for the professional identity and influencing factors of novice PE teachers by collecting and collating the relevant documents or data of teachers' professional identity.The second part,combined with the interview content and the literature basis,compiled and revised the scale of the “Influencing Factors of Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE”,and formed the scale officially issued;the third part collects and sorts out the distribution data,and "The Influencing Factors Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE" carries out factor analysis and verifies its reliability and validity.In the fourth part,the independent sample T test,analysis of variance,and other methods are used to explore the Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE and its various dimensions on demographic variables;The fifth part is the analysis and regression analysis of the Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE and its dimensions and influential factors and the correlations between each dimension.The sixth part is based on the results of the above analysis.Specific measures are proposed for teachers' professional identity.Based on the above research results,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The “Influencing Factors of Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE” adapted by this research institute is composed of three dimensions of personal factors,social factors and school factors.There are 20 items to measure the three factors for Novice Middle School PE teachers.Among them,the "Influencing Factors of Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE" has good reliability and validity,which is suitable for the measurement and evaluation of Novice PE teachers.(2)In terms of the characteristics of Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE,the overall level of professional identity is relatively higher.And the order from the largest to the smallest in each dimension is: identity of value > identity of dedication > identity of emotion > identity of ability > identity of sustainment.In terms of gender,the professional identification level of male physical education teachers in middle schools is higher than that of female teachers.In terms of teacher establishment,the professional identification level of physical education teachers in middle schools is higher than that of substitute novice teachers.There is no significant difference in the Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE in terms of objects,school location,weekly hours,and monthly income.(3)In terms of influencing factors of Teachers? Professional Identity in Novice Middle School PE,the impact of each influencing factor on the overall level of professional identity is as follows: personal factors> social factors> school factors.In the identity of ability factor,the personal factor has the largest impact;in the identity of emotion factor,the social factor has the largest impact;in the identity of value factor,the personal factor has the largest impact;in the identity of dedication factor,the personal factor has the largest impact;in the identity of sustainment factor,School factors have the greatest influence.
