Youth is the future of the country and the hope of the nation.Adolescents are in a special period of life development,and it is particularly important to carry out effective life education for students at this stage of junior high school.As early as the Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020),life education was taken as one of the four strategic themes.The question of thinking warns the urgency of implementing life education in junior high schools.Carrying out life education can not only guide students to face the value and meaning of life,and promote their all-round development,but also strengthen teachers' deeper understanding of life and promote teachers' professional growth.Life education refers to a specialized educational activity that takes the growth of human life as the main line and focuses on the natural life,social life and spiritual life of human beings.Through life education,students are guided to understand life,cherish life,and develop life,so as to realize the greatest value of limited life.Life education is an effective means to deal with social and public crises,an important condition for promoting the implementation of quality education,and one of the necessary ways to solve the practical problems of young people's lives.At present,through questionnaires and interviews,it is found that the results of implementing life education in ethics and rule of law courses mainly include:in terms of students,they have a vivid understanding of life attitudes and a certain grasp of life skills;teaching methods to promote the development of teachers' professional competence.Despite this,there are still some challenges,such as:students'understanding of the meaning of life is not sufficient,life education resources have not been effectively used,the achievement of life education goals is not ideal,and the emphasis on life education is not enough.In order to better carry out life education in ethics and rule of law courses,this study proposes optimization strategies from these four aspects:integrating teaching materials and infiltrating life education awareness;mining materials to enrich life education resources;creating activities to activate life education experience;Work together to build a life education defense line.
