Teachers' engagement in elementary school management can help improve the overall management and enhance their sense of belonging and achievement.Yet,the questions of how schools should improve teachers' engagement and how to truly implement democratic management are of significant research value.In this study,a comprehensive questionnaire investigation was conducted among 200 teachers in four elementary schools in the S District of X City.The author also interviewed some educational administration leaders,principals,and elementary school teachers online.The study found that elementary school teachers had weak awareness of engagement in school management,their engagement was one-sided and quite low.Also,their engagement had only a single channel,and the guarantee mechanism was not perfect.Based on the existing problems of teachers' engagement in school management in elementary school in S district,X city,this paper proposed corresponding improvement measures after in-depth analysis.First of all,the education administration should ensure the effective implementation of the democratic management right,improve the system of staff congress,and implement the "multi-assessment" program.Second,schools should refine the "multi-engagement management" model and create an environment favorable for democratic management.Also,incentive mechanisms for teachers should be introduced and special training programs should be given.Last but not least,teachers should strengthen their initiative and develop their ability to participate in management.
