Research On The Work Practice Of The Group To Enhance The Willingness Of Young People To Donate Organ

Organ donation is currently the only legal form of organ transplantation,and it occupies a pivotal position in the history of medical development.At present,there is still an extreme shortage of organ donors in China,and the number of donors is far less than in the developed Western countries.Although organ donation is part of medical social work,as of now,social work has relatively little involvement in the field of organ donation,while this paper broadens the field of social work practice from the perspective of social work and fills the gap of social work in the field of organ donation.Using the theory of planned behavior and the theory of cognitive behavior as the theoretical basis,it provides a new theoretical perspective to enhance the willingness to donate organs.The adoption of group work method in practice broadens the field of practice of this work-side method,and the collision of organ donation and group work method achieves innovation at the methodological and technical levels.The use of young people as a target group for organ donation promotion groups breaks through the previous focus on middle-aged and elderly groups,and increases the possibility of increasing the number of organ donors.In this study,10 study participants were recruited as group members from university interns working with social work agencies to conduct group activities to increase organ donation willingness.The group activities were cascaded from initial awareness,cognitive reshaping,and cognitive reinforcement,while the kernel of the group activities was designed at four levels: cultural,national,family,and individual,with the aim of generating educational meaning and making group members aware of the importance and value of organ donation.Pre-test and post-test questionnaires were conducted before and after the group activities were conducted,and the effects of the group were examined and evaluated through data analysis of the pre-test and post-tests.This paper concludes that group work methods have an effect on the willingness of youth groups to donate organs.In addition,three aspects of group work methods,cognitive behavioral theory and theory of planned behavior applied to enhance the willingness of youth groups to organ donation are reflected.Finally,four suggestions are made to improve the system,improve the law,strengthen supervision,and enhance publicity.
