Research On The Influence Of Neighborhood Relationship On Residents’ Donation Behavior From The Perspective Of Community Social Capital

Charity donation plays an important role in the development of national and social civilization.China has incorporated folk charity into the national governance system,which is of pioneering social significance to the development of charity.As an important subject of charity,citizens’ social donation is the key factor to promote the development of charity.Judging from the latest data,the main body of charitable donations in my country is still enterprises,and the level of social donations from citizens is relatively low.Existing studies have explored the factors that affect personal social donations from different disciplines.Studies have shown that neighborhood effect and active participation in community activities have a significant impact on donation behavior.Few studies have explored neighborhood relationships and community organizations participation in donations to residents from the community environment,and voluntary service is an important part of charity.Few studies have explored the influence of community residents’ neighborhood interactions on donation behavior under voluntary service.Thus,this paper adopts the data of 2012 China General Social Survey,based on the theory of community social capital.to explore the influence of neighborhood relationship and community organization participation on Residents’ donation behavior,and explore the influence mechanism of residents’ participation in voluntary service on their donation behavior.Get the following results:(1)The overall participation rate of Chinese residents in charity activities is low,and demographic characteristics will affect individual donation behavior.Among them,gender,education level,political outlook,community type and other factors have a significant impact on individual charity behavior;(2)The residents with better neighborhood relationship are more likely to engage in charitable donation;the residents with higher participation of community organizations are more active in participating in public welfare,which can promote the residents to participate in social donation;(3)Participation in volunteer service has an impact on residents’ neighborhood relations and community organization participation in the generation of donations.Neighborhood’s contribution to donation behavior is positively affected by volunteer services.Residents’ participation in volunteer services is between community organization participation and donation behavior.Has a positive regulation effect.This paper discusses the influence of neighborhood relationship on residents’ donation,and finds that voluntary service has a positive moderating effect between neighborhood relationship and donation behavior,and neighbors enhance their donation behavior by participating in community organizations.According to the conclusion,Propose future philanthropy to enter the community,change the way of charity mobilization,promote neighbor relations,develop and build community organizations,voluntary service organizations and other related countermeasures and suggestions,play social work to promote the role of harmonious neighbor relations in philanthropy,innovate community governance,and promote philanthropy healthy growth.
