Since the release of "Chinese Students' Development of Core Literacy" in september2016,the reform of basic education has officially entered a new era of core literacy.It has become the direction of curriculum reform of basic education to establish evaluation standards based on the development of core literacy,combine the content and quality of learning,and promote the implementation of students' development of core literacy.Under this background,the cultivation and development of mathematics core literacy also emerge at the historic moment.Mathematical operation accomplishment is one of the core qualities of mathematics,and it is the concrete embodiment of comprehensive quality of mathematics.In junior middle school mathematics learning,the cultivation of operational literacy is very important.In order to understand the current situation of junior middle school students' mathematical operation literacy,and considering that the eighth grade is the critical period for the development of students' mathematical operation literacy,this study uses random sampling to investigate the mathematical operation ability of two hundred and eighty-five grade students,and puts forward corresponding training strategies according to the survey results.The research adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,data analysis and case study to study the application of mathematical operation literacy of grade eight students.The author selected eighth-grade students and their mathematics teachers from two middle schools in different districts of H city as the research objects.Firstly,collect and integrate existing research results to determine research problems;And then combined with the existing literature and a glimmer of teacher's advice,compiled the eighth-grade students math literacy assessment test(including mining title in five dimensions,information,and master the application principles,simplified operation steps and reasonable estimation results,obtained by computation results)and questionnaire,and combining with the teacher interviews,to analyze the present situation of the eighth grade students' mathematics accomplishment.Explore the main problems existing;Finally,according to the analysis results,the strategy of cultivating the eighth grade students' mathematical operation accomplishment is put forward.Through the statistical analysis of students' operational literacy test papers and questionnaires,the conclusions are as follows:(1)There are 65 students at level I(knowledge understanding level),accounting for 24.07% of the total number of students;there are 88 students at Level II(knowledge transfer level),accounting for 32.59% of the total number of students;there are only 62 students at Level III(knowledge innovation level),accounting for 22.9% of the total number of students;the rest 55 students have not reached any level.It shows that the higher the level of mathematical operation accomplishment,the fewer students will reach it.(2)Students do not have a deep understanding of operation,and cannot dig out the hidden information in the questions;(3)Students' grasp of basic knowledge is not strong enough to choose the correct rules to solve the problem;(4)Students' problem solving thinking is solidified,and they lack operation transfer ability and innovation ability;(5)There is no great difference in students' interest and attitude towards mathematical operations,but there are certain problems in their sense of operational ability,operational strategy and operational habits,and students are afraid of mathematical operations and lack of confidence.Based on the analysis of problems and interviews with teachers,this paper gives some suggestions to improve mathematical operation literacy:(1)Pay attention to the understanding of operation;(2)Focus on strengthening students' mathematical thinking training;(3)Focus on cultivating students' ability of operation transfer and innovation;(4)Pay attention to the cultivation of students' computing habits.
