Morning exercise is an important part of children's daily life.It can make children's activities in the kindergarten have a good start.The performance of children's autonomy in morning exercise is of great value to children's development.This study used non-participatory observation and interview methods to collect data through 30 children in a large class in N kindergarten,discussing the status quo and influencing factors of the autonomy of children who are in a relatively large class size.Thus,relevant suggestions were put forward to improve the autonomy of children in morning exercise.Firstly,behaviors of children in typical morning exercise activities were observed,and three activities were selected wooden ladder combination activities,ball activities and circle activities.A total of 12 recorded videos including 341 minutes of morning exercise activities were collected.All the behaviors of children were transcribed in a line-drawing style,and then cases related to children's autonomy performance were coded.The conclusion was summarized that the autonomy of large class children's morning exercises was mainly reflected in the three aspects of initiative,independence and creativity: First,children's active performance was reflected as active participation,peer communication and exploration.Second,children's independent performance is reflected in children's independent self-expression independent activities and self-protection;Third,children's creative performance in morning exercises is reflected in children's innovative use of materials and innovative body movements.At the same time,there were some problems on children's autonomy performance: children's self-control ability was insufficient,their behaviors tended to be impulsive;and activities were not active and their participation is not high;children's independent ability is easily disturbed,which is difficult for teachers,and this study analyzed the behavior of young children in combination with typical cases.Secondly,this study analyzed and concluded that the three factors can work together to affect children's morning exercise autonomy: individual characteristics,interpersonal communication and home environment.Among them,children's individual characteristics included children's physical and mental development characteristics and existing experience abilities,interpersonal communication factors include teachers' intervention and guidance and peer relationships,and home environment factors include a prepared kindergarten environment and a supportive family environment.Finally,feasible suggestions were put forward to improve the autonomy of children's morning exercises in this study.Kindergarten teachers should try to construct an independent and open material environment,create a democratic and equal morning exercise atmosphere for children,and adjust the way they guide children's morning exercise.
