"Group reading" refers to one teaching process that teachers and students choose a set of articles according to a topic and read around the determined topic in class to form a collective construction then finally reach a consensus.The application of group reading in the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in primary school is of great significance to improve the present situation of ancient poetry teaching,to optimize the knowledge structure of ancient poetry teaching,and to expand the research vision of ancient poetry teaching.The teaching of ancient poetry is a key and difficult point.Most students always focus on the understanding of words and mechanical recitation in the study of ancient poetry,resulting in a series of problems,such as the fear of ancient poetry and low learning enthusiasm.Group reading teaching takes student as the mainstay.It instructs the collective construction of learning between students and teachers in unit time,helping students to further study autonomously.This effect of that cannot be achieved by the traditional "teacher teaching,students listen to the class" teaching.Group reading teaching can effectively improve students' enthusiasm in learning ancient poetry,help students to contact with it more fully,realize its beauty and charm,and gradually fall in love with it imperceptibly.The author deeply explores the concept and essence of group reading teaching,carries out the investigation and research on the present situation of ancient poetry teaching,so as to try to apply group reading to the teaching of ancient poetry in primary school.This paper mainly includes three parts: introduction,the main body and conclusion.The introduction includes the reason why the author selects this topic,the significance and current situation of this topic,research ideas and methods as well as literature review.There are four chapters in the main body.Chapter one is to fully explain the essence of group reading teaching and affirm the important value of group reading through defining the core concepts and understanding theoretical basis.Chapter two is to investigate the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in L primary schools,including questionnaire survey of students and interviews with teachers,and to integrate the results of the survey.Chapter three is trying to find out the main problems in the teaching of ancient poetry in primary schools from the survey results,and analyze the possible reasons.Based on the concept of group reading teaching,the fourth chapter is to respectively put forwards the application methods of ancient poetry group reading in primary school from three aspects including the determination of topics,selection of ancient poetry as well as collective construction and consensus.The conclusion is a comprehensive summary and reflection of this paper.
