As a composite concept,Centers activities in the context of theme are a new form of educational organization explored by experts,scholars and front-line teachers in practice based on the relationship between thematic activities and centers activities.However,due to the lack of systematic and perfect theoretical guidance,teachers will encounter some difficulties in practice.Among them,how do preschool teachers understand the centers activities under the theme background,what is the implementation status of centers activities under the theme background,and what problems will appear in the implementation process? All of these are the problems worthy of further study in the implementation of centers activities under the background of class theme.This study adopts the method of Field work and selects a middle class of M kindergarten in Nanjing as the object of case study.The researcher integrates into the daily life of the class,collects and records the current situation of the implementation of centers activities under the background of relevant topics in the class by means of observation,interview,physical analysis and auxiliary photos,videos and recordings,so as to make an in-depth analysis.The research found that the main points for implementing centers activities in the context of the theme of the class include: presupposing based on teacher experience and adapting to children ' s interests;multi-level deliberations to promote active dialogue between centers and topics;understanding children's experiences through multiple channels;and different forms of educational organization Actively interact with each other;centers connection promotes interaction between children;parental resources enrich curriculum construction;sharing and exchanges promote experience improvement.But at the same time,there are also problems that teachers' teaching time is difficult to guarantee,the observation of centers activities is more casual,the centers activities lack evaluation indicators and the centers solidification and form are single.Based on this,the study pointed out that the main reasons for the above problems are the fixed area types of the kindergarten,the busy affairs in the kindergarten,the lack of support from teachers and the large class size.Finally,in response to the above-mentioned problems and their influencing factors,the researchers put forward the following suggestions: First,the kindergarten should reduce the burden on teachers and ensure the construction of class curriculum;support teachers and provide professional help.Secondly,on the part of teachers,they should strengthen their own learning about the theory of infant development;use indicators to evaluate the development of infants.Finally,I hope that parents,the community,and kindergartens will form an educational synergy to jointly promote the implementation of centers activities under the background of the class theme.
