The literature selected from the unified middle school language textbooks is both beautiful and ethnic and regional in nature,and the teaching of local literature in the classroom is conducive to promoting the excellent Chinese traditional culture,but there are still many difficulties in the actual teaching.Project-based learning plays a important role in eliminating the drawbacks of the traditional local literature teaching model.This study takes junior high school language local literature as the research object,and aims to explore the teaching strategies of PBL applied to the local literature,in an attempt to provide reference for the teaching of junior high school local literature in the future.Through the literature research method and the case-study method,we conducted an in-depth study of the teaching record and teaching design of junior high school local literature,and found that the current teaching faces challenges such as one-sided interpretation of local literature themes,lack of vernacular flavor in teaching contents,difficulty in reflecting vernacular characteristics in teaching methods,and insufficient awareness of teaching local literature as a whole.After analyzing the characteristics of PBL,it is found that it has a greater fit with the real needs of teaching local literature nowadays.For example,the integration embedded in it can solve the current situation that local literature works are scattered,and the authenticity can solve the current situation that local literature teaching lacks practice.On the other hand,local literature can enrich the practical space for PBL.Its regional characteristics meet the principles of contextualization of PBL,and its cultural background is compatible with the interdisciplinary nature of PBL.Based on the analysis of the appropriateness of PBL and the local literature,the teaching strategy of PBL of the local literature in junior high school is proposed.Firstly,the “three stages and five processes” of PBL are elaborated,and on this basis,the process of designing and implementing junior high school local literature projects is proposed: in the preparation stage of PBL,the project theme needs to reflect local characteristics and integrity,and the project plan needs to reflect cooperation and inquiry;in the implementation stage of PBL,teachers need to change the way of learning,emphasizing the student as the main body,integrating knowledge from inside and outside the classroom,and realizing the teaching concept of “knowledge in action”;in the evaluation stage of PBL,process evaluation and summative evaluation should be both used,and the focal point of evaluation should be whether students' knowledge of local literature has improved,whether their language ability has developed after the activity,whether PBL has awakened a deeper understanding of local literature.and whether PBL has awakened the emotional experience of local culture.After the thorough theoretical preparation for the junior high school local literature project,we developed the PBL task “Searching for Traces of Lu Xun in the Modern Vernacular Culture” and practiced it in the classroom,formulating corresponding teaching strategies based on the characteristics of Lu Xun's works in the junior high school local literature,which is conducive to enhancing students' understanding of Lu Xun's local literature and to awakening their emotions about the local culture.
