According to the Ordinary High School Chinese Curriculum Standards over the years,the text types of modern text reading are generally divided into "literary text","practical text" and "discourse text".The discourse text itself contains a very rich variety of types,and the academic text is one of the types with distinctive characteristics and great difficulty in reading.Nowadays,some academic texts are selected into the textbook,which are generally social science articles and literary and art review papers.These academic texts often have exact views and rigorous arguments,aiming at exploring one or more academic issues.Therefore,there are some difficulties for teachers and students in this kind of reading.In view of this situation,this paper selects high school academic text reading teaching as the research object,trying to carry out a more comprehensive and systematic research from two aspects of theory and practice,so as to make some exploration for the reading teaching of this kind of text.This paper can be divided into four parts:The first part focuses on the connotation and reading value of academic texts.Firstly,the concepts of "academic" and "academic text" are defined,and the essential characteristics of academic texts different from nonacademic texts are thoroughly analyzed.Then,the reading value of academic texts is explored.It is found that such texts have the value of rich reading experience,understanding the spirit of seeking truth,broadening academic vision,cultivating rational thinking,improving reading ability and training writing logic.The second part analyzes the importance of carrying out academic text reading in senior high school.From three aspects of curriculum standard,students and teachers,this paper analyzes the positioning of academic text reading in the new curriculum standard from two aspects of core literacy and learning task group.It also explores the basis and challenges of senior high school students' reading academic text from three aspects of psychological development,reading level and ability development.Finally,it summarizes the difficulties and breakthrough of high school teachers in carrying out academic text reading teaching according to the current teaching situation.The third part is the text interpretation and teaching analysis of the academic texts in the Chinese textbook of senior high school.Firstly,it combs the required and selective academic texts in the textbook,and then interprets the content and structure characteristics,logical reasoning method,reading value,etc.,and then analyzes the teaching based on the excellent and typical teaching cases and records of front-line teachers,and points out the merits and the contents what need to be discussed.The fourth part discusses the teaching strategies of academic text reading and makes corresponding instructional design on this basis.On the one hand,on the basis of the clear basic principles of academic text reading teaching,the teaching devices are put forward through the preparation,implementation and post teaching evaluation of the whole process.On the other hand,taking academic texts Rural China and Talking about “wood leaves” as examples,the instructional design is carried out.Among them,taking the article Talking about “wood leaves” as an example,the paper also carries out teaching in the actual classroom and makes reflection after class.
