According to relevant researches,many students with excellent physical performance in junior high school have suffered a deep decline in it after entering into senior high.They even lost confidence in physics and began to fear it.Since the implementation of the new 3 + 3 mode of the college entrance examination,less than30% of the students choose to study physics;many reasons can be used to account for this phenomenon,among which the defect of the physical thinking quality of the freshmen in senior one is an main influencing factors.The core quality of 2017 senior high school physics new curriculum standard puts forward the guiding concept of "scientific thinking" and emphasizes the importance of physical thinking in the process of physics learning.In the existing research,many scholars have explored the quality of physical thinking,but the quantity of researches on the relationship between the quality of students' physical thinking and the learning situation is very limited,which is the innovation of this study.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction part.By referring to the relevant literature about the quality of physical thinking,combining with the problems of the freshmen in current senior high school in the physical learning,the purpose and significance of this study are determined.At the same time,according to the existing research at home and abroad,the causes of learning difficulties and thinking quality defects are analyzed,the research contents and methods of this paper are put forward and the specific research ideas are designed from the perspective of teaching.The second part is the theoretical part.Firstly,several core concepts such as thinking and physical thinking are defined.Secondly,combined with Piaget ' s cognitive development theory and other psychological theories,it analyzes how to apply psychological knowledge to the cultivation of physical thinking quality of freshmen in senior high school,so that students can adapt to the study of physics in senior high school quickly.Finally,it discusses the importance of physical thinking quality to students of senior one in the process of physics learning.The third part is the research part,taking the senior one freshmen of Chengdu SD middle school as the research object,choosing different class types to carry out the questionnaire survey of physical thinking quality and learning status.Through the questionnaire survey,it is known that most of the students have different degrees of defects in the quality of physical thinking.There is a correlation between the currentsituation of students' learning and the quality of students' thinking.The reasons for the defect in the physical thinking quality of senior one students are analyzed according to the results of the questionnaire.The fourth part and the fifth part are the practical research section.According to the results of the questionnaire survey and the analysis of the causes,the teaching strategies and cases of training students' physical thinking quality are studied in four aspects such as concept teaching and law teaching,etc.Taking the opportunity of practice teaching,the teaching cases and strategies are studied and the results show that most of the students in the experimental class have got improved in their physical thinking quality,and the overall average score of the class is higher than that of the control one.However,there are still a few students in the experimental class who have not improved their physical thinking quality after practice.The sixth part mainly summarizes the conclusions and shortcomings of this paper,as well as the problems worthy of further discussion on the basis of this study.It is hoped that some help can be offered to the front-line teachers in training the physical thinking quality of the freshmen,and also some reference can be provided for the follow-up researchers.
