Function is the most basic mathematical model to describe the relationship and laws of variables in the objective world,and it is widely used in analyzing and solving problems.Function is a main thread that runs through the "number and algebra" of junior high school and is the top priority of junior high school learning.In this paper,literature research method,test paper survey method and interview method are used to solve the following problems:(1)SOLO theory is used to investigate the current situation of mathematics Function Learning of Junior Middle School Students in mountainous area.;(2)the influencing factors are obtained through the analysis and the teaching strategies to improve the functional learning of students in mountain areas are put forward.This paper takes Grade 9 students from Laboratory Middle School of X county,Shijiazhuang as the research object.The questionnaire is compiled according to the requirements of the function content in the curriculum standard,textbooks,teacher teaching books and students' monthly examination papers.The three dimensions of the concept,the image and nature of the function,and the application of the function were investigated.The SOLO theory was used to set the scoring standard and the survey results were statistically analyzed.Finally,it was concluded that 65.19% of the students did not grasp the concept of general functions at all.,45.93% of the students did not grasp the concept of the linear function at all,34.07% of the students did not grasp the concept of the quadratic function at all;64.44% of the students did not grasp the image and properties of the function at all;52.59% of the students did not know the geometry of the function at all;74.82% of the students can't solve the comprehensive questions of functions at all.At the same time,there are obvious differences in the mastery of the concept of function,the image and nature of the function and the application of the function in the same class.Through interviews with teachers and students,the reasons are analyzed.:(1)from the aspect of students in mountainous areas: Firstly,most students have weak mathematical foundation.Secondly,many students do not pay attention to study and have no good habit of listening to lectures and doing exercises.Thirdly,they are not good at expressing their ideas.Fourthly,most of them have poor drawing ability.Fifthly,some students are lazy and unable to operate,observe and think in accordance with the requirements of teachers,and their learning enthusiasm is not high.Sixth,students have less experience,lack of life experience,less reading and poor reading ability,so they have poor ability in mathematical examination.(2)from the perspective of teachers: Firstly,teachers do not pay enough attention to the teaching of the formation of function concept,and overemphasize mechanical memory.Secondly,there is no concept network in the teaching of function concept.Thirdly,the teacher does not pay enough attention to the experience process of drawing pictures by hand and the exploration process of images and properties of functions.Generally,it is the teacher's inductive nature,and students consolidate their memory through practice.Fourthly,the teacher does not pay enough attention to the analogical learning between different functions.After learning all the basic functions,the teacher's explanation of Comprehensive subjects is too little.In response to the problems found,the corresponding teaching strategies of function are put forward:(1)dig into the teaching materials and the course standard,make the teaching objectives in line with the actual situation of students in the mountainous area,do a good job in the teaching design based on students' mathematics foundation,and identify the key and difficult points.(2)let students experience the process of forming the concept of function..Do a good job of concept discrimination,selected examples and exercises.(3)guide students to participate in the exploration teaching of function images and properties.Infiltrating the idea of combination of number and form,and making good use of modern multimedia auxiliary technology to stimulate students' enthusiasm in learning function.(4)improve students' ability of functional examination and map recognition at their reading level.The teacher should have method to instruct,have supervise,encourage and guide in time.(5)stratified homework,stratified guidance.In view of the proposed teaching strategy,a concrete teaching design is designed from three dimensions: the concept of function,the image and nature of function,and the application of function.
