An Action Study On The Reconstruction Of Social Relations Among People Who Have Lost Their Only Child

Although the country has fully implemented the second child policy,the number of one-child families in China is still large.With the increase in the number of only children dying due to various reasons,the number of families who have lost the only child is also increasing.The material plight of those who have lost their only child has received widespread attention from all walks of life.The government provides financial assistance,but it has not paid enough attention to how to deal with the reconstruction of their lives and social relationship.In the academic field,there is little practical research on the issue of social relationship fractured by those who lost their only child,and there is a lack of corresponding theoretical research.Therefore,from the perspective of social work relationship,this article explores the action strategy of reconstructing the social relationship of those who have lost their only child,which has important theoretical and practical significance.This article first combs the impact of the loss of the only child,and discusses the necessity of reconstructing the social relationship of those who lost their only child.On this basis,a case of loss of the only child in a social work organization in G District X of Nanjing City is used as the object of action research to explore the problem of restructuring the social relationship of those who have lost their only child.It includes four stages: problem diagnosis,plan formulation,implementation and evaluation.Diagnose the problems of those who have lost their only child from the level of the relationship between the individual and the self,with others,and with the society.By establishing a cooperative relationship with those who lost their only child,formulating action plans,and externalize the problem in the form of grief accompaniment;Reconstruct the relationship with important others through formal farewell to relatives,etc.At the community level,reshape community care and establish a mutually supportive environment.Finally,help those who lost their only child establish a benign relationship with the environment,adjust their self-role expectations,rebuild the meaning of life,accept themselves,connect with others,and return to society.In addition,through the professional actions of social workers,the organization's professional services are promoted,and the government,society,and professionals are encouraged to continuously form a joint force to effectively help the people who have lost their only child rebuild their lives and return to society.
