| In October 2015,the 18 th Session of Fifth Plenary Session decided to adhere to the basic state policy of family planning,opened up a second child."Two-Child Policy" open up,marked the end of the one-child era.However problems left over from the one-child era-alone is not over,parents who lost their only child were the "victim" of the family planning policy in special times.The loss of only child family also became a new public issues.The loss of only child family,as the focal point of the issue,whether the media has carried on the objective reporting to them,whether there is any problems in rendering their image,how to report the group.Presenting true and objective image of the loss alone,become the core issue in constructing the media image of parents who lost their only child.Along with the development of the network,in the era of new media,media issues,public issues and government issues influence each other and decide what is important in the process of the construction of an issue.That bring a great challenge for the media in reporting on how to objectively present the image of the parents who lost their only child,narrow the distance between media image and real image of them.This study choose the reports about the parents who lost their only child as the study text,Southern Metropolis Daily and Guangzhou Daily from 2008 to 2016.Based on the present image situation of the parents who lost their only child,analysing the media image of them in the newspapers.At the same time,based on the theory of Agenda Building,analysing the problems in the process of building the media image of them in the newspapers,from the three aspects of the media,government,public.Based on this,what are the efforts is the government,the media,the public need to do,guiding the media to perfect and reconstruct real,comprehensive and objective media image of them,thereby alleviating social contradictions and social conflicts and promote social stability and harmony. |
