Reading is an effective way for high school students to improve their knowledge reserves and life-long learning,The strength of reading literacy has a great impact on the learning ability and learning effect of high school students. With the development of the times, the total amount of information has increased sharply, knowledge has been continuously integrated and deepened, and disciplines have been increasingly intersected. This kind of influence has become more significant for students. This article studies interdisciplinary reading literacy to break the barriers of disciplines and the inertial understanding of reading literacy, deepen the understanding that reading literacy is a kind of interdisciplinary and cross-field common literacy, and serve students' independent learning and public reading, lay a solid foundation for life-long reading.First of all, this article defines interdisciplinary reading literacy through literature reading.Interdisciplinary reading literacy should not only pay attention to the non-cognitive ability of reading, such as reading habits, reading interest, reading meta-cognition,etc.,but also focus on improving the common literacy factor of interdisciplinary reading——interdisciplinary reading ability, such as cognitive interaction.Translation ability, comprehension and analysis ability, evaluation and reflection ability.Secondly, using the survey method, combined with the structural elements of interdisciplinary reading literacy, designed the high school students' reading non-cognitive ability questionnaire and high school students' interdisciplinary reading ability test paper to understand the current status of high school students' interdisciplinary reading literacy.Through investigation,it is found that the current interdisciplinary reading literacy of high school students has the following problems: First, the quality and quantity of reading of students are low,and there is a misalignment between reading interest and reading materials;second, they do not have good reading habits, lack of reading goals, and cannot be summarized in time.Reading content;third, reading methods are less mastered and unsystematic;fourth, reading attention is easily distracted, weak willpower, and dyslexia is common;fifth, interdisciplinary reading ability is weak, lacking critical reading thinking, evaluation and reflection ability weak. Finally,in response to the problems of students, this article proposes specific strategies from four aspects: reading interest, reading habits, reading methods, and interdisciplinary reading ability. The instructional strategies for cultivating students' reading interest, reading habits, and continuous text reading methods are applicable to all disciplines, and the instructional strategies for non-continuous text reading methods such as images and formulas can also be applied to science and engineering disciplines. In addition to the skillful use of interdisciplinary text training strategies, the thesis also proposes that the cultivation strategies that encourage students to question and guide reflective reading can also be transferred to different disciplines to promote the improvement of students' interdisciplinary reading ability.Through the “Reference System”and “Molecular Thermal Movement” two physics teaching cases show the specific application of interdisciplinary reading literacy training strategies, which can also be used as a reference for subject teachers.
