In the 21 st century,China's economy has leapt into the process of industrialization.Many Chinese investors visit Thailand for trading activities,making the demand for the usage of Chinese Language in Thailand more common.Because of this,Thais and the Ministry of Education have paid more attention to the Chinese Language.The Thai Ministry of Education has allowed schools to offer courses and used Chinese as the second foreign language in their fundamental courses for high schools.However,the process of teaching Chinese Language in Thailand still has some problems.Therefore,the author had chosen this problem to do the research.This is the quantitative research.The objective of this research is focused on elementary Chinese Language teaching at a middle school in Udon Thani,Thailand.The author had taken an internship at Don Bosco High School for a semester.The author had chosen the survey method using questionnaires,classroom observations,and interviews with native Chinese teachers in Thailand.Then,the author had used SPSS,Social Science Statistical Software,to analyze the data.Next,the author had analyzed the data through descriptive statistics,frequency,percentage and standard deviation,and the summary of the analyzed results.Hopefully,this research will enable readers to learn more about the Chinese Language teaching at Don Bosco High School,and help the school improve its teaching more efficiently,and provide a reference for relevant departments.This article consists of four parts:The first part is the introduction,which is divided into topic selection,research summary,subject investigated,research content,and methods.The second part is about the questionnaire design of the current situation for Chinese Language teaching at Don Bosco High School,the brief introduction of Don Bosco High School,and the design and implementation of the questionnaire.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of Chinese Language teaching at Don Bosco High School,the composition of the data analysis,classroom observation,and interviews of the current situation of Chinese Language teaching at Don Bosco High School.The fourth part is for the problems and suggestions in the Chinese Language teaching of Don Bosco High School,the problems founded in the teaching situations,and the suggestions for the teachers.The results of the analysis found that the overall degree of agreement in all aspects is mostly average,indicating that the teaching methods of Don Bosco High School must be further improved to improve the teaching level and cultivate students' interest.In order to improve the efficiency and effect of learning Chinese as much as possible.
