In recent years,Chinese teaching has developed rapidly in Scotland.Although many primary and secondary schools in Scotland have set up Chinese courses,the Chinese teaching in most schools is not suitable for the traditional teaching methods because of the reasons for the setting of Chinese teaching courses,the lack of teaching teachers and teaching materials.Thematic teaching emphasizes the theme as the core,integrating teaching resources and setting up a real situation for teaching.It is not limited to the content of the teaching materials.It is in line with the actual situation and needs of the primary Chinese teaching in Scotland.From the perspective of Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools in Scotland and on the basis of the research results of other scholars,this paper comprehensively considers the present situation of Chinese teaching in Scotland,the resources of teachers and textbooks,the learning characteristics and interest of the students,and combines the author's Chinese teaching practice and reflection in the ten month of Scotland to the subject based teaching.In the study of the application of Scotland Junior Chinese comprehensive course,the thesis is mainly divided into four parts: the first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the origin,purpose and meaning of the research,summarizes the research status of thematic teaching domestic and overseas,expounds the related theories of thematic teaching,and come up with the research object and research technique.The second chapter,consider three fields of the teaching situation,the faculty and teaching materials,the characteristics and interests of the students,has carried out the feasibility analysis of the application of thematic teaching in Scotland primary Chinese comprehensive course.The third chapter is the core chapter of this article,and has carried out the theme based teaching design of the Scotland primary Chinese comprehensive course,including the choice of the teaching theme,the overall teaching design and the evaluation and feedback of the teaching design.The fourth chapter reflects on the design and application of thematic teaching in Scotland,analyzes the advantages and defect of thematic teaching,,and gets inspiration from teaching.The conclusion is a summary of the full text.
