‘Reciting' appeared almost same time as Chinese language education in the country and had experienced constant evolution since ancient time,as well as the ups and downs of its critical role in Chinese education.It has come back to the public eyes today with great attention and even regarded as the key factor of Chinese classroom teaching.It is of great significance to study ‘reciting'in order to improve Chinese language teaching,optimize Chinese classroom education and promote teaching efficiency.The educational concept of reciting by Zhu Ziqing,with historical inheritance and features of the time,was the production of hislearning,teaching and scholarly research experience in lifetime.It is interrelated with his other teaching theories and literary theories,but they exist independently.Studying Zhu Ziqing's recitation teaching view will help us to have a deeper thinking about the essence of recitation teaching,connect the past and the future,correct the roots,promote the healthy development of "reciting method",and better guide today's Chinese teaching.There are five parts in this thesis:Chapter 1 gave an elaboration on the content of Zhu Ziqing's teaching idea of reciting,explaining in four aspects of concept determination,reciting purpose,function and methods.Chapter 2 compares Zhu Ziqing's reciting concept with that of contemporary educators Ye Shengtao and Xia Mianzun,and further clarifies the uniqueness of Zhu Ziqing's reciting concept.Chapter 3 discussed the formation of his reciting theory from both time background and personal experience.It turned out that his opinion of reciting was not only the production of the time but also his achievement of lifetime learning,teaching and scholarly research.Chapter 4 analyzed the value of Zhu Ziqing's reciting concept,which was explored from perspectives of Chinese character features,conventional reciting theory and reciting principle.Chapter 5 discussed about the contemporary enlightenment of Zhu Ziqing's concept of reciting combined with the teaching situation at this moment.In conclusion,the study aims to comprehensively and profoundly exploring the connotation of Zhu Ziqing's teaching concept of reciting,discovering its historical and present value,promoting the normative and practicality of reciting and improving Chinese language teaching effect.
