| Activity theory is a descriptive theory which is based on the soil of Marxist philosophy to analyze all kinds of activities in human society.Based on the activity theory, this paper tries to analyze the students’ use of history textbooks in the activity class,so as to guide the students to use history textbooks reasonably. The main body of this paper consists of three parts. The task of the first chapter is to clarify the concept and explore the theoretical significance of activity theory in guiding the use of textbooks.History textbook is an objective existence in classroom teaching, and the use of history textbook is a form of interaction between teachers and students.Starting from the systematic structure of activity theory,we can find that activity theory and teaching activities have a very high compatibility and adaptability in theory. The second chapter is based on the understanding of the adaptability of activity theory to teaching activities.Under the guidance of activity theory, students learn the related contents of Lesson 2,Unit 4,The Early and Middle Qing Dynasty’s heyday and crisis.Through investigation and analysis of students’ performance before, during and after class,it can be found that the activity theory has a certain guiding effect on students’ learning, but at the same time,it also leads to students’ neglect of the use of history textbooks and other problems. The third chapter is summary and suggestion.Through the investigation and analysis of the second chapter,it is found that when students use history textbooks under the guidance of activity theory, they are usually influenced by many factors, such as students themselves, teachers, textbooks and schools. Therefore, students should pay attention to balance the relationship between textbooks and other learning materials, and set up a correct view of textbooks;Teachers should allow full play to their guiding function, highlight the teaching material in class, and strengthen the connection between teaching material and real life;Schools should pay more attention to the use of a variety of evaluation methods for daily assessment. |
