We are living in an era of economic globalization,those people who come from different cultural environment have to ask for more and more international exchanges and cooperation.Various cultures,ideas and concepts collide with each other,then effect themselves,which has formed a colorful multi-cultural world.Multicultural intercommunion capacity is increasingly important.Multicultural education is becoming a global education trends and an important concept of current Chinese curriculum standard.The unified edition of Chinese textbooks,which was used in middle schools over china,pay more attention to select a certain number of foreign texts while increasing the proportion of traditional cultural texts.For students,studying foreign texts contribute to broaden their cultural horizons,increase understanding of exotic multicultures,cultivate humanistic qualities and bulid substantial foundation of an open world outlook.Therefore,it has its great practical significance to study teaching strategies of foreign texts in unified edition of Chinese textbooks in junior middle school.Exclusion the preface,this paper is divided into four sections,the details are as follows:The first chapter compares the compilation of foreign texts in the unified edition of junior middle school Chinese textbook with that of the textbooks organized by People's Education from the aspects of the content,quantity,style,scope and author.Under the perspective of multiculture education,this chapter also analyse the shortcomings of the compilation of foreign texts,and summarizes its multicultural value,multi-language characteristics and multi-style characteristics,thus points out the target of selection and compilation of foreign texts.The second chapter is the investigation and analysis of teaching status making by the survey method and interview method.The first part is teaching questionnaire survey which concerning Chinese foreign texts under the perspective of multicultural education.The second part is the analysis of final Chinese examination papers and junior middle school academic level examination papers of in Liling City over past three years,then using intelligent marking system to consult the score of Chinese examination papers in one junior middle school.According to the survey results,it analyze the current teaching situation,existing problems and the causes of the problems.The third chapter discusses how to use foreign texts as a carrier to carry out multicultural education.By combining the improvement of teaching method with the improvement of learning method dialectically,this chapter summarizes and refines the original teaching strategies for the current edition of Chinese textbooks and the teaching methods that can strengthen the multi-cultural learning experience.The fourth chapter is three example of teaching design of multicultural education,attempting to demonstrate teaching strategies of foreign texts texts which are classified as texts taught by the teacher,texts read by students or introduction to famous books.
