The emphasis of education for international understanding is to enrich the national culture and respect the cultures of other nations.Based on the changes of domestic and foreign environment,China's basic education is carrying out curriculum reform in accordance with the trend of The Times,striving to pursue the internal unity of international and national character,and practicing the educational values of multiculturalism.Therefore,cultural vision,diverse culture and cultural understanding have become the high frequency words in the curriculum standard.Both the 2011 Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards and the 2020 Revised Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools emphasize that students should respect,tolerate,understand and learn from cultures of different countries.Based on the value pursuit of the new curriculum and the relevant provisions of the curriculum standard,this topic makes a detailed analysis of the compilation of selected articles of foreign culture in the unified Chinese textbooks for junior high schools,so as to test the way of implementing cultural understanding in the unified Chinese textbooks for junior high schools.The main part of this paper consists of six parts: introduction,text and conclusion.Introduction and literature review,introduces the purpose and significance of the subject research,summarizes the foreign culture and the overall compilation of the junior middle school Chinese textbooks related to the foreign culture selection of the research situation.The second part defines the core concepts of "foreign culture" and "the selection of foreign culture in the unified compilation of the Chinese textbooks for junior high schools".Secondly,it expounds the significance of studying and compiling the selected articles of foreign culture in the junior middle school Chinese textbooks.Then the author sorts out the foreign culture in the textbook selection of material,theme,the arrangement of the situation.Through in-depth analysis of the theme content and cultural spirit of the selected essays,it is found that the selected essays convey the spirit of humanitarianism,rationality,vigor and revolution,which is consistent with the socialist core values advocated by our country at present.The third chapter makes a comprehensive summary of the compilation experience of the textbook,and finds that the compilation concept of the unified compilation of selected foreign cultural texts is based on the core literacy of Chinese.The compilation content of the comprehensive revision highlights the learning material,expands the concept of the textbook,and tries to get close to the students.The editors try to absorb the characteristics of each genre,but the cultural value of the selected essays of foreign cultures is not enough,and the diversity of the selected essays and the cultural excavation of the selected essays still need to be improved.The fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions for teachers from the perspective of culture,suggesting that teachers should give full play to the foreign cultural value of the selected texts of foreign culture and attach importance to the compilation content of learning method guidance based on the teaching materials,so as to better promote students' cultural understanding.In the conclusion part,the author summarizes the research on this topic,hoping that this research can arouse the front-line teachers' attention to "cultural understanding and inheritance" in the core quality,and practice the three-level design teaching proposed in the curriculum standard of cultural respect,cultural consciousness and cultural confidence,so as to cultivate students' cultural understanding ability in an imperceptible way.Second,it can help teachers to establish the understanding of the systematization of foreign culture selection involved in the unified compilation of the junior middle school Chinese textbooks.Finally,I can improve my ability to control the teaching material.Finally,some prospects for the future research are put forward.
