Psychological capital is a kind of psychological state that can be measured and developed.The development and application of psychological capital can promote the development of geography teaching.Through the methods of literature analysis,interview,Mathematical Analysis and Questionnaire Survey,this paper studies the characteristics and influencing factors of middle school geography teachers' psychological capital in south Jiangxi.In accordance with the theory of psychological capital and psychometrics,a questionnaire of psychological capital for middle school geography teachers was developed.A sample survey was conducted among 173 geography teachers in various counties and urban areas in south Jiangxi,the psychological level characteristics of middle school geography teachers in South Jiangxi were analyzed in 10aspects: Different Sex,age,county,city,educational background,teaching years,marital status,professional title,grade,region and school type Comprehensive Analysis in different demographic variables,human capital variables,organizational characteristics variables on the middle school geography teachers of the psychological capital of the impact of each dimension;Using "psychological capital effect variable questionnaire" to measure the level of middle school geography teachers' job satisfaction,job performance and job conversion willingness,through the regression analysis of Spss,as an influential factor,psychological capital is analyzed to influence and explain the variables of psychological effect of middle school geography teachers in Gannan area This paper puts forward five strategies to improve the psychological capital of middle school geography teachers in the south of Jiangxi Province.This study draws the following conclusions:(1)The psychological capital of middle school geography teachers in the south of Jiangxi Province is a second-order multi-factor structure.Through Literature Research,expert interview,open-ended questionnaire,preliminary test and formal measurement,combined with exploratory factor analysis,reliability and validity analysis,it reveals that the psychological capital of middle school geography teachers in the south of Jiangxi Province is a second-order multi-factor structure,they are transactional psychological capital(enterprising,self-confident,brave,optimistic,tenacious)and interpersonal psychological capital(respectful and courteous,modest and steady,grateful dedication,tolerant and forgiving).The overall reliability and validity of the questionnaire were high.(2)By means of the psychological capital questionnaire for middle school geography teachers,173 geography teachers in south Jiangxi Province were surveyed,it is found that psychological capital and its dimensions are different in 8 demographic variables or human capital variables such as gender,age,county,urban area,educational background,marriage,teaching ag,grade,school type.(3)Through the stepwise regression analysis of the demographic variables(sex,age,marital status),human capital variables(education,teaching years,professional titles)and organizational characteristics(school type,school nature,chool area,teaching years)of a total of 10 influencing factors,it is concluded that gender,age,teaching age,school type and teaching grade have significant influence on some dimensions of the second-order eight dimensions of the psychological capital of middle school geography teachers in Gannan area.(4)Using the psychological capital effect variable questionnaire and the software SPSS to carry on the regression analysis to the data,taking the psychological capital of middle school geography teachers in Gannan area as an influence factor,it is concluded that when it is an independent variable,the job satisfaction and the job performance is a positive correlation of middle school geography teachers in Gannan area,and a negative correlation between it and the job intention of middle school geography teachers in Gannan area,and the prediction results are significant and consistent with the prediction results.(5)The strategies for improving the psychological capital of middle school geography teachers include:(1)paying attention to the measurement and development of the psychological capital of Middle School geography teachers;(2)increasing the financial expenditure on education to create a good environment for geography teaching;(3)to change the concept of geography teacher training in primary and secondary schools and enhance teachers' sense of professional belonging and Value Identity;(4)to change the way of school management and strengthen the humanistic care for geography teachers;and;(5)to improve students' enthusiasm for geography learning,in order to promote the work enthusiasm of geography teachers.
