At present,with the continuous advancement of the new round of the reform of the college entrance examination,the teaching mode of “the course-selection regulation”has forced the community to pay attention to and value the education of career planning.In the context of the new college entrance examination,senior high school students need to consider the choice of their subjects based on the major they want to learn and the occupation they want to engage in.In other words,they need to link their studies,majors and occupations to make a master plan.Combined with the high school stage that is vital for students to begin to explore themselves and the professional career,the education of career planning should become a crucial component of high school education.Before,universities and junior colleges are the main schools to carry out the education of career planning,with more research findings and greater promotion efforts;Because high school students are regarded as being far away from making choices of career,career planning education that lack relevant policy researches and studies has not received due attention,which is very few especially for high schools in the county.Therefore,this paper takes Z Middle School in Zhongjiang County as an example to research the status quo,problems and coping strategies of career planning education in county high schools under the background of the new college entrance examination.To begin with,describes the background of the problem proposed firstly,then explains the problems,purposes,demonstrates the significnce of studying the career planning education of county high school from the theoretical and practical perspectives finally.Analyzes the development process,theoretical achievements and implementation status of career planning education in high schools in developed countries,summarizes the implementation status,existing problems and coping strategies of career planning education in domestic high schools,and obtains relevant enlightenment on the development of career planning education in ordinary high schools in China through comparison.Then the county high school,the new college entrance examination,career planning education and other basic concepts are defined,indicating the specific connotation of these concepts in this literature;This paper briefly expounds the theoretical basis supporting this research,including Donald E.Super's theory of vocational development and Erik H Erikson 's Eight Stages of Development.Next,investigates the current situation of career planning education in this school by questionnaire and interview.In this paper,749 county high school students were investigated in terms of gender,grade,place of residence,and educational level of their parents.The findings indicate that the career planning level of county high school students is lower levels,high independence,low utility,low initiative,a certain understanding of professional self and lack of knowledge about the professional world.The career planning level of high school students in county town is mainly influenced by family factors such as the economic conditions and the educational level of the parents,does not increase with grade growth,and in arts and science and different types of classes is uneven.Through face-to-face interviews with 7 teachers and 2administrative leaders of the school,we understand the views of teachers and leaders on career planning education.And finds the following problems exist in the career planning education of county high schools.County high school teachers' educational ability of career planning is insufficient.The leaders have a heart but no strength to conduct career planning education.Finally,the author puts forward countermeasures suitable for the development of career planning education in county high schools,on the basis of the sort-out of related domestic research finds and the actual situation of the case school.Firstly,county high school students take the initiative to improve their own level of career planning.Secondly,the school carries out diversified career planning education,improve the ability of all teachers in career planning education,strengthen the top-level design of county high school career planning education,improve parents' awareness of career planning,and integrate social resources through multiple channels.Through the research of career planning education of county high school,this study hopes to contribute to improve the career planning ability of county high school students,help them find the direction of study and the driving force,and increase their competitiveness in entering schools and choosing jobs. |
