In August 2014,the state officially promulgated the "Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Examination and Enrollment System",which started the course of the new round of college entrance examination reform.Shanghai and Zhejiang,as the pilot of comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination,have gained some experience.In September 2018,Guangdong will also carry out the new university entrance examination reform.There are two biggest characteristics of the reform.One is to let students have right to select tests and subjects,and the other is the adjustment scheme of college admissions.Therefore,it is particularly urgent and important to develop education of students' career planning and ability as well as to cultivate students' planning awareness.This paper mainly analyzed the theoretical foundation of high school career planning education,using literature method,questionnaire method,interview method and other research methods,hoping to explores the main problems of career planning education in high school,analyze the reasons for the formation of these problems,and put forward the concrete suggestions to improve education of high school career planning.The basic theory of education of high school career planning mainly includes the career development theory of Super,the career interest theory of Holland and the career anchor theory.Based on the career development theory of Super,high school career planning education should aim at helping students to deepen understanding of themselves,life and society,involving students in all kinds of practice activities to examine themselves and have a try of the career role.The career interest theory of Holland means the exploration of career interests,which should be the starting point of education of high school career planning.Career anchor theory focuses on professional experience activities,so as to achieve the goal orientation of ordinary high school.Based on the career planning education of Guangzhou True Light High School,the investigation indicates that education is not satisfactory in the ordinary high school career planning.The main problems are as follows.Firstly,career planning education in high school develops slowly.Secondly,the systematicness of the career planning education is not strong.Thirdly,instructive skills of teachers who participate in career planning education need to be improved.Fourth,teachers and students have less time and energy to organize or participate in career planning education.Fifth,career planning education lacks the integration of social resources.The problems above mainly result from several reasons such as the imperfect mechanism of education,low recognition of education in career planning,poor professional performance of education data,backwardness of education methods and so on.The specific Suggestions for improving education in the career planning of high school students are mainly carried out in four aspects: government,school,parents and students.The government should increase the investment of education at all levels and rationally allocate relevant resources.The school should construct a professional team of career planning instructors and strengthen the profession of related activities.Parents should update their family career concept and support high school career planning education in every aspect.Students should take active part in related activities and do a good job in self-development planning,and keep pace with latest information of society and university.
