In the current education reform of primary and secondary schools,more and more emphasis is placed on cultivating students’ ability to learn actively.Classroom teaching not only requires examinations,but also put emphasis on enabling students to learn knowledge actively that is closely related to their own lives and form the right values.Rural geography is close to the lives of students,and is closely related to nature and human geography.The use of rural geography resources can play a role in promoting teaching,and people are increasingly aware of the importance of rural geography.However,after preliminary investigation of the current situation of rural geography teaching in senior high school in Ganzhou,the author found that in the process of rural geography development,due to teachers’ lack of training of relevant knowledge and inaccurate grasp of the content and principles of rural geography development,there exists certain difficulty in developing rural geography.In the teaching practice of rural geography,there still exist phenomena such as insufficient rural geography teaching and incomplete integration of rural geography resources.After the survey,the author found that although there are many books on rural geography,they tend to study the theory of rural geography,and there is less research on teaching practice.Especially for the area of prefecture-level cities like Ganzhou.there are still relatively few researches on the integration of resources and the methodological guidance of rural geography teaching practice.Starting from the actual situation of geography teaching in middle school,based on the basic knowledge and theoretical foundation of rural geography,taking Ganzhou City as an example and combined with investigation and research,this thesis summarizes the problems in the development of rural geography resources and teaching practice: First,the teacher’s ability of rural geography resource development and utilization is not high;second,the education authorities provide less training and financial support,and thus the school lacks guidance and motivation to develop school-based textbooks;third,although students have weak knowledge of rural geography geography,especially human geography,they are strongly interested in geography.Aiming at the current situation of the development and utilization of rural geography,this thesis clarifies that the development principles and priorities of rural geography resources should be guided by the geography textbooks of middle schools,and the content selection is guided by the compulsory content of the geography textbooks of middle schools.The main development forms includes the compilation of the rural geography textbooks and arrangement of teaching cases.The teaching strategy of rural geography is adopting a multi-faceted strategy such as in-school,out-of-school,and home-school cooperation to carry out rural geography teaching practice.In the school,appropriate teaching methods such as case teaching,direct rural geography teaching,and cooperative inquiry can be selected to do rural geography teaching.At the same time,the teaching and scientific research methods such as project research and test question setting system should be strengthened to enrich the practical methods of rural geography teaching.Out of the school,research trips and establishing practical educational bases can be take into consideration to allow students to walk out of the school to explore the rural geography curriculum resources in a real environment.The trinity of home,school,and society can provide a guarantee basis for the rural geography teaching practice.
