The resources of local geography come from the real situation around the students,and they are the most familiar geographical resources.After the start of the new curriculum reform,the degree of development and research of local geological resources is gradually deepening.Efficient use of local geographic resources in high school geography teaching is the requirement of the new curriculum standard and the actual demand of high school geography teaching.The application of local geographic resources can expand geography teaching resources to enhance the vitality of the classroom,cultivate students' home country feelings,make students have a high sense of identity and pride in their hometown,and cultivate students' geographic practice to learn geography that is useful to life.In order to better use local geographic resources in senior high school geography teaching,this article uses a literature research method to review the current status and significance of research at home and abroad.Under the guidance of theory,collect and sort out the local geological resources of Xiamen City.Use questionnaire survey method and data statistics method to analyze the application characteristics and problems of Xiamen's local geographic resources in senior high school geography teaching,and propose relevant application principles and strategies.On this basis,this paper carries out the design of related cases to improve the application of local geological resources.Based on the research,the thesis concluded that the following conclusions:Through the literature research method,Xiamen's local geological resources are divided into two major categories: natural and human.Summarize the status quo of Xiamen's geographic location,topography and sea area characteristics,climate characteristics,hydrological conditions,resource distribution,and social economy.Through questionnaire survey and data analysis,it is found that teachers and students in Xiamen have insufficient understanding of local geographic resources;the relevant departments do not pay enough attention to local geographic resources,resulting in fewer channels for teachers and students to obtain;the teacher's application of local geographic resources is single and does not carry out enough geographic practice activities;the school's local geographic textbooks are lacking.In response to the problems found in the survey,this paper proposes relevant application principles and strategies,including the development of teacher training on special topics in local geography to enhance teachers' application ability;and the development of local geographic case collection activities to stimulate teachers' creative enthusiasm;enrich the design of local geographic practice activities and integrate local geographic resources into the classroom in various ways;base on school-based curriculum to develop local geographic teaching materials.In order to further enhance the application of local geographic resources,this article digs deep into the collated Xiamen city local geographic data combined with the chapters of the latest textbook to sort out corresponding teaching suggestions.Finally,a teaching case combining the content of this section with local geographical resources and rural and urban spatial structure and a case of local geographic practice activities are designed.
