Oral communication has clear characteristics of life and socialization. The standards of the compulsory language curriculum(publication 2011)emphasize that communication with people can be listened carefully to others, understand the main points of speech and are clearly expressed. Therefore, teachers should ask students to be modest and serious in the listening process, understand the key points expressed by the speaker and respond effectively. However, with the current teaching of oral communication at primary school level and lack of interest in oral communication learning, the level of oral communication between students continues to decline and the current state of oral communication teaching in primary schools is a cause for concern. In the classroom, although most language teachers use different ways of teaching, due to the limitations of various practical conditions, there are still some problems in oral communication teaching, for example: many teachers believe that students can be taught in everyday life, without spending much effort in the classroom.Students cannot learn the interest of verbal communication.Students do not know how to use communication skills, communicate with people, etc. Therefore, this study took the fifth and sixth grade students and language teachers of K City T Primary School as the survey object, and used the literature method, questionnaire survey method, action research method and other in-depth excavation of oral communication classrooms, aiming to attract teachers to pay more attention to oral communication teaching.Strengthening the training of oral communication among students in primary school education is conducive to improving students' oral expression level. After two rounds of teaching practice, the author found that the teaching ability of teachers and the learning style of students have been correspondingly improved, and the overall teaching quality can also be improved to a certain extent. However, there are still some deficiencies in the classroom, such as: when answering questions, students cannot effectively carry out oral classes due to differences in ideas, which in turn affects the teaching progress of the whole lesson;in the design of teaching plans, due to the lack of relevant theoretical knowledge, the activities designed by teachers are single, which reduces the participation of students in the classroom. In view of these problems, the author proposes relevant teaching strategies, combining theory and practice, cultivating students' oral expression habits and awareness, thereby improving the efficiency of classroom teaching, and providing a reference for front-line researchers and teachers and future oral communication research.
