A Study On The Cultivation Of Students’ Awareness Of The Rule Of Law In The Teaching Of High School Ideology And Politics

The rule of law is an important manifestation of the progress and development of human civilization.The comprehensive rule of law under the leadership of the CPC is a major leap in the reform of China’s governance model and a powerful guarantee for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.At present,building a socialist state under the rule of law requires both top-level design at the national level and the enthusiastic participation of individual citizens.The Fourth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee emphasized the integration of rule of law education into the national education system.To comply with the spiritual guidance of this decision,the high school ideology and politics curriculum standards clearly propose to focus on cultivating high school students’ awareness of the rule of law through ideology and politics course study.To this end,teachers of ideology and politics should be brave enough to take up the important task of cultivating the awareness of rule of law among high school students,dig deep into the teaching materials of rule of law in ideology and politics class materials,give full play to the key role of ideology and politics in teaching,strive to improve the effectiveness of ideology and politics classroom teaching,and enhance the effectiveness of rule of law education in ideology and politics class.It is very necessary and feasible to use the teaching of ideology and politics to strengthen the cultivation of rule of law awareness among high school students.As a key course for realizing the task of "establishing moral education" at the high school level,ideology and politics classes play an important role in cultivating new socialist generations,implementing the new curriculum’s core literacy of rule of law awareness,enhancing students’ awareness of rule of law,and guiding students to promote the spirit of rule of law.The compatibility of rule of law consciousness with ideological and political science teaching,the interaction between rule of law consciousness cultivation and ideological and political science teaching,etc.,has laid a realistic feasibility for realizing the cultivation of students’ rule of law consciousness in ideological and political science teaching.Thematic survey is an effective means to grasp exactly the current situation of rule of law awareness cultivation among high school students.Through the questionnaire survey on the theme of rule of law awareness,it is found that the current process of rule of law cultivation among students in high school ideological and political teaching has real problems such as fragmentation of students’ legal knowledge,insufficient ability of teachers to cultivate rule of law awareness,insufficient attention of schools,insufficient family rule of law education,and the influence of adverse social events.Although there are many reasons for the poor cultivation effect of rule of law awareness among high school students,the lack of students’ belief in rule of law,insufficient rule of law education in schools and families,and the lack of strong atmosphere of rule of law education in society are the influential factors that cannot be ignored.The cultivation of high school students’ awareness of the rule of law is a systematic project,which requires the collaboration of many parties and the formation of educational synergy in order to achieve good results.As a key course of high school students’ awareness of the rule of law,from the perspective of curriculum teaching and cultivation path,enhancing the main body of students’ awareness of the rule of law is the internal motivation,improve the main body of teachers’ training ability is the key,improve the main body of school training planning and mechanism is an important foundation,awaken the parents of high school students’ educational responsibility is the necessary requirement,create a strong social atmosphere of the rule of law is the condition guarantee.Therefore,the ideology and politics class teaching,should focus on the cultivation of students’ awareness of the rule of law as the subject center,while paying attention to the combination of school,family and social educational advantages,joint efforts,resonance,with a view to forming a strong educational synergy,and ultimately achieve the purpose of cultivating students’ awareness of the rule of law.
