As a natural subject based on experiments,physics has become an important part of the development of the first productive forces of society.Higher-order thinking ability refers to mental activities or cognitive abilities occurring at a higher cognitive level.It is manifested as analysis,evaluation and innovation,and mainly refers to innovation ability,problem solving ability,decision-making ability and critical thinking ability.This article is mainly on the basis of high-order thinking ability training,survey the development of the higher order thinking ability of students,as well as the first-line teachers know the situation of high-order thinking ability,is in the process of teaching pay attention to the cultivation of student's high-order thinking ability,adopt what ways to cultivate,and analyzes the results of the survey and investigation research and teaching practice,The aim is to provide some teaching suggestions on how to cultivate students' higher order thinking ability.This paper mainly through the following five parts to study:Part ONE:determine the research object,conduct literature review,formulate the research plan,and clarify the research method.The second part: retrieval of relevant literature,review the theoretical basis.The third part: carry out the teaching investigation,analyze the investigation result,the investigation result attribution.Part four:determine teaching principles,put forward teaching strategies and implement teaching practice.Part five: summarize the research results,reflect on the shortcomings of the research and look forward to the future research.Through the investigation and research results,determine the physics teaching principles and teaching strategies under high-order thinking,and carry out the teaching practice of section 1 of Chapter 7 of physics of Grade 8 of people's Education Edition,so as to reflect the cultivation of students' high-order thinking ability.This article is mainly to understand the development of students' higher order thinking ability,as well as the front-line teachers' understanding of high-order thinking ability,in the teaching process have pay attention to the cultivation of student's high-order thinking ability,adopt what ways to cultivate,and analyzes the results of the survey,using questionnaire survey,theoretical guidance,Teaching design and other methods,the investigation and research and teaching practice,aiming at cultivating students physics higher order thinking ability.Through the investigation,it is found that there are several problems in the training of students' physics higher-order thinking ability in junior middle school.Teachers :(1)lack of understanding of higher-order thinking;(2)Teachers lack of implementation ways;(3)lack of self-renewal consciousness of teachers;(4)Old-fashioned teaching design.Students :(1)lack of deep thinking on basic knowledge;(2)Lack of students' evaluation ability;(3)Students' awareness of innovative thinking ability is weak;(4)Lack of determination to overcome problems.Six conclusions are drawn from the investigation:(1)some teaching practices can effectively cultivate students' higher-order thinking ability;(2)By creating a situation,arouse students' desire to explore,which is helpful to cultivate students' ability to analyze problems;(3)Create cognitive conflict to improve students' critical thinking ability;(4)Mind mapping and concept mapping can help students construct and integrate knowledge;(5)Group discussion can cultivate students' evaluation thinking ability;(6)Open physical problems can improve students' awareness of innovation.
