The Times are developing and society is progressing.The sun and the moon move,the stars shift bucket.Everyone is inseparable from society,everyone must adapt to the changes of society,in order to survive and foothold in the future society,in order to make greater contributions to the society in the future,in order to make the prosperity and progress of the motherland,the country rich and strong.Primary school students are the flowers of the motherland and the future pillars of the country,but also from an early age to cultivate the ability to adapt to society.Therefore,in the most important initial stage of a person's life,namely the primary school stage,primary school educators should pay attention to and shoulder the responsibility of cultivating students' social adaptability.Rousseau said in his famous work Emile: "What is the best education? "The best kind of education is one that does nothing: education that students can't see happening,but that affects their minds and helps them reach their potential.That's the best education in the world." Sports can give children a healthy body,strong strength,but most fundamentally,sports can deepen children's understanding of life and love of life,teach children how to win under the constraints of rules,also teach children how to correctly face failure,help children form a more complete personality.In the newly issued Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standard(2011 edition),"mental health and social adaptation" is specifically mentioned,emphasizing the role of physical education in the cultivation of primary school students' social adaptation ability.It is required to cultivate primary school students' strong will quality,learn to regulate emotions,form the sense of cooperation and ability,and form good sports ethics.Primary school stage is an important initial stage in the development of everyone's life,and it is the critical period and golden period of education.Students at this stage have strong curiosity,thirst for knowledge and plasticity.Good learning habits and abilities developed at this stage can affect students' whole life.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the function of improving students' social adaptability through sports in primary school.In this paper,taking sports homework as the entry point,82 pupils from two classes in grade five of Jingshan Primary School were selected as experimental subjects,and they were randomly divided into control group(42 students)and experimental group(40 students).The control group received regular PHYSICAL education,while the experimental group received physical education homework except physical education.The experiment lasted for 3 months and 12 weeks,and 30 minutes of physical education homework was arranged 3 times a week.PE homework is arranged according to the pace of PE classes in each grade.The results show that:(1)Through the 12-week physical education homework experiment,the seven dimensions of primary school students' social adaptability,including activity participation,learning autonomy,living independence,environmental satisfaction,social identity,interpersonal coordination and social vitality,have highly significant improvement.It shows that sports homework has positive and good influence on the social adaptability of primary school students,and sports homework can effectively improve the social adaptability of primary school students.(2)Through the 12-week experiment of physical education homework,the scores of physical education homework on the 8 dimensions of social adaptability of pupils of different genders are different,but there is no significant difference.It shows that PE homework has a balanced and consistent effect on the social adaptability of pupils of different genders.Based on the research results,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Pay attention to the layout of sports homework.(2)Schools and PE teachers should strengthen communication and contact with students' parents.(3)PE teachers should continue to learn to improve their knowledge level and ability.(4)Primary school students themselves need to be aware of the importance of sports activities for their own development.(5)The government should establish relevant rules and regulations.
