Homework is a task assigned by teachers to students under the direct supervision of non-teachers and outside school hours.Parents will participate in it in different ways.The difference of the way of participation and the difference of the degree of participation directly affect the students 'learning behavior and habits in completing homework.Primary school is the key period for the development of students 'learning adaptability.Parents' participation in homework will inevitably have a certain impact on the learning adaptability of students.In order to improve the learning adaptability of lower level students,it provides constructive advice for parents to participate in homework scientifically and effectively.In this study,the students and their parents in the first and second grades of X Primary School in Xiangyang City,Hubei Province were studied.In the early stages,the "Questionnaire for Parents 'Participation in Homework Methods" was compiled,and the "Student Learning Adaptive Test Manual"(used by students in grades 1 and 2 of primary schools)was used.Set of volumes,Quantitative analysis of the correlation between the two.In the later period,teachers,parents,and students were interviewed against the results of the study to understand the psychological and external factors that affect parents 'participation in the choice of homework methods,and to find out the correlation between the way homework participation and the students' learning adaptability categories.Analyze and explain through cases,interviews,etc..As a result,the study concludes that:1.Parents in the lower elementary school tend to use the "supervision inspection" method to participate in homework,but it is easy to ignore the "teacher communication" in homework.2.Parents with high academic qualifications are more involved in the three types of homework participation such as "request preparation","strategy guidance" and "content counseling" than parents with low academic qualifications.3.The father's participation in "strategic guidance" in homework participation was higher than that of the mother.4.Parents of non-only children pay more attention to the use of "homework feedback" for homework participation.5.The ability of elementary school students to adapt to "family environment" is better than that of "school environment".6.Girls at the lower levels of primary school are much more adaptable than boys in terms of "listening methods".7.There is a high positive correlation between the low level of parental homework participation and students 'learning adaptability.The low level of parental attention tochildren's homework is conducive to children's better adaptation to learning and life.The concrete expression of "strategic guidance" is helpful to improve students' learning adaptability;"Request preparation","teacher communication",and "content counseling" have a positive prediction effect on the students ' "learning attitude","listening method","family environment",and "independence and perseverance"."Supervision and inspection" has a positive prediction effect on the adaptation of students' "family environment".
