In 2016,the Core Quality of Chinese Student Development system promulgated.It marked that the development of education in China has entered the era of core literacy.The development of student core literacy depended on the curricula of various disciplines at the stage of basic education.Based on the essential characteristics of each subject and the value of educating,the core literacy of the discipline was condensed.It clarified the correct values,essential qualities and key abilities that students should achieve after learning the courses of various disciplines.The Biology Curriculum Standard for High School(2017 edition)condensed the core accomplishment of high school biology into four aspects: life concept,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility.It embodied the basic principle of cultivating people.It clarified the educational objectives to be achieved in the biology curriculum of high school.It guided the direction of teaching practice in future.And It guided teachers in curriculum design and teaching.Under the guidance of Chinese Student Development Core Literacy and High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 edition),the author launched the practical study of the core literacy in high school training biology discipline.The research process can be divided into three stages:the first stage was the arranging stage.The literature research method was used to sort out the system framework,curriculum reform measures and educational practice models of core literacy research at home and abroad.On this basis,the connotation of literacy,core literacy,core literacy of the discipline and the core literacy of biology were interpreted,and the teaching theory of the subject research was expounded.The second stage was the investigation stage,which was conducted at the student level and the teacher level by means of questionnaire.According to the survey of the core literacy level of biology,statistical analysis showed that the development of students life concept literacy had certain limitations;the level of scientific thinking and scientific inquiry literacy need to be improved;and the level of social responsibility literacy was relatively weak.At the same time,according to the investigation of teaching status of cultivating core competence of disciplines,It showed that teachers bore great pressure on teaching under the current teaching situation.But it was difficult to grasp the relationship between improving performance and developing students core competence.The teaching practice needs to be enriched,teaching evaluation needs to be improved,and teacher professional competence needs to be improved under the guidance of the new curriculum standard.These problems became obstacles to the implementation and promotion of core discipline literacy training.Suggestions should be put forward for students,teachers and schools in the light of specific conditions.The third stage was the practice stage.The teaching principles that were proposed to cultivate students core literacy of biology include: life,science,inquiry,life,relevance and development.The applicable teaching strategies and methods included: making full use of "self-study plan",combining STEM educational concept,taking general concept teaching as the main line,creating abundant teaching situations,carrying out experiments or practical activities and adopting various teaching methods.At the same time,I have completed the teaching practice cases of new courses,history of science,experimental courses and practical activities.And I embodied these principles and methods in the specific teaching process.Finally,the cultivation and promotion of students core literacy was a practical process of continuous promotion and development.There were some shortcomings in the study.I hope to continue to improve and perfect it in the future educational practice research.
