Prose is an important part of Chinese teaching in primary schools,which will play an important role in the ideological construction of students and the cultivation of their Chinese learning ability,it also plays a positive role in the improvement of students' individual language ability and the development of their language perception ability,but the current level of prose teaching in the high-grade section of primary school is not satisfactory,starting from the application of situational teaching method in modern and contemporary prose teaching,this paper studies the deficiency of prose teaching in high-level Chinese teaching in primary schools and the direction that it needs to be improved in the application of situational teaching method,and put forward the concrete improvement countermeasure.This paper mainly probes into the present situation of the application of situational teaching method in the teaching of modern and contemporary Chinese prose in primary schools and the existing problems,including the lack of creativity in the creation of situational teaching,the derailment of the creation of situational teaching and living,the lack of sufficient pertinence in the creation of situational teaching and the teaching of the teaching form,etc.,after that,the causes of the problems are analyzed,including the deep-rooted examination-oriented education,the shortage of teachers,and the cultivation and innovation of teachers,students' lack of interest in learning and accumulation after class,as well as teachers' uneven level of using modern teaching techniques and interpreting essays.In the third chapter,according to these problems,the author puts forward the case study and method summary of situational teaching method in high-level prose teaching in primary school,one uses multimedia to create situations,the other uses object demonstration to create situations,the third uses life to create situations,the fourth uses language to create situations,the fifth uses problem to create situations,and the sixth uses role to create situations.The third part is the conclusion,which summarizes the full text of the study,while reflecting on the lack of research articles and proposed future research direction.The innovation of this paper lies in the practical analysis of the application of situational teaching method to the teaching of modern and contemporary prose in high-level Primary School,in order to change the majority of Primary School Chinese teaching will have the problem-students understand prose than other styles,specifically for the prose course teaching to help students build a more systematic learning system,and assist teachers to form a systematic and perfect situation teaching method,to further realize the effective application of situation teaching method in the teaching process of Chinese prose in primary schools,and finally to improve students' core literacy of Chinese subject,it is hoped that the study of this paper can be used as a reference for the improvement of the teaching level of modern and contemporary Chinese prose in primary schools.
