In elementary school,to learn mathematics well,thinking in images is very important.The development level of thinking in images determines the development of other thinking to a certain extent.However,in the middle and upper grades of rural primary schools,the cultivation of students' mathematical thinking ability in mathematics has not received corresponding attention.Teachers have not carried out systematic training of students.This article aims at cultivating the image-thinking ability of middle and upper grade students in rural primary schools,discusses the development and influencing factors of middle and upper grade students' image-thinking ability in rural primary schools,and proposes rural areas on the basis of theoretical research.Teaching strategies for cultivating image thinking in middle and upper grades of elementary school.In order to fully grasp the mathematics thinking ability level of middle and high grade students in rural primary schools,a test survey was carried out with students in grades 3 to 6 of a rural primary school in Fuzhou,Fujian Province as the survey object.Through the analysis of test scores,we obtained: Mathematics of middle and high grade students in rural primary schools The level of thinking in images is low.Most of them stay at the level of mathematical representation,some reach the level of mathematical association,and a small part reach the level of mathematical imagination,but the overall level continues to improve with age;at this stage,students' thinking forms change from specific Thinking in images is transitioning to abstract logical thinking,but this kind of abstract logical thinking still has more concrete and vivid elements;students' ability in thinking in images has a certain phase,and most of the abilities at all levels increase with age,and there are a few.There is a regressive trend;there is a connection between mathematics performance and students' image thinking ability;the level of teaching affects the development of students' math image thinking ability;students seldom use image thinking to solve practical problems spontaneously.According to the investigation and analysis,it is concluded that there are problems in the development of image thinking ability of middle and high grade students in rural primary schools.The influencing factors are analyzed and corresponding teaching strategies are proposed to cultivate the ability of thinking in images of middle and high grade students in rural primary schools.The specific content is: improving At the level of mathematics representation ability,use intuitive teaching as a strategy to appropriately use object intuition;rational use of models and intuition;emphasis on using intuitive language;instruct students to use hands-on operations.In improving the level of mathematical association ability,use the combination of number and shape as a strategy to assist with form Numerals are supplemented by numbers.To improve the level of mathematical imagination,use multiple representations as a strategy,multiple representation variants,and deepen mathematical understanding;use multiple representations to enrich students' imaginations.
