Physics is a natural science subject based on experiments,and physics experiments are the foundation of the whole physics teaching.How to improve the quality of physics teaching and cultivate students' quality of physics has always been the most concerned issue in the educational circles.Physics experiment teaching can not only create physics situations,help students construct physics concepts and laws,stimulate students' learning initiative,and improve the teaching effect,but also is the main way for students to form physics subject literacy.With the continuous improvement of the new curriculum standard,the position of experiment in physics teaching has been gradually improved,but the implementation of physics experiment teaching in some remote areas still needs to be strengthened.Therefore,in this paper,the high school physics experiment teaching in Hainan prefecture,Qinghai province as the starting point,hoping that the investigation and research can inspire or draw lessons from teachers and students in correctly understanding physics experiment teaching and giving full play to its functions.On the basis of studying the requirements of the new curriculum standard and the national high school equipment standard,and consulting a large number of related documents,this paper makes an in-depth investigation on physics experiment teaching resources,physics teachers' experimental teaching situation and students' experimental ability in seven high schools in Hainan,Qinghai.And analyze the existing problems and their causes.From the analysis and investigation results,it can be seen that teachers and students have insufficient knowledge of physical experiments,the teaching methods of physical experiments are not rich enough,the opening rate of physical experiments is low,the utilization rate of laboratories and instruments is low,the classroom efficiency of experimental teaching is low,the evaluation methods of experimental teaching are single,and students' ability of physical experiments is weak.To solve the above problems,the improvement suggestions are as follows: improving teaching resources and increasing their utilization rate;Change the teaching concept and enhance the importance of physics experiment teaching;Strengthen experimental teaching to reflect students' subjectivity;Formulate the evaluation mechanism of physics experiment teaching to promote students' development;Stimulate the enthusiasm of participating in experimental teaching and improve the efficiency of physics experiment class;Attach importance to the cultivation of students' physical experiment ability and implement the concept of new curriculum standard.
