The rural e-commerce has made a significant contribution to the overall victory of poverty alleviation and brought in more development opportunities for regions and people who have been lifted out of poverty. In the context of continuing rural revitalization and development, the sustainable poverty-alleviation ability of regions and people overcoming poverty has drawn a lot of attention. However, some of them still face the risk of falling back into poverty due to their poor economic status, high dependence on government subsidies, unstable poverty alleviation quality and other uncontrollable factors.Especially in the process of urbanization,a large number of people or families who are able to buy houses and find jobs in rural areas move to cities and towns, which changes the original social network of these farmers. The author of this paper focuses on the strong and weak relationship network of peasant households overcoming poverty, explores the role played by rural e-commerce development in the strong and weak relationship network as well as the relationship between the transformation of strong and weak relationships and the sustainable poverty-alleviation ability of peasant households overcoming poverty and proposes relevant countermeasures. With the strong and weak ties and empowerment theory taken as the basic theory as well as semi-structured interview and observation as the research method, the author carries out researches. The author, through consulting literature and relevant public information of the local government as well as a on-site investigation, explores the basic situation of village G and current situation of peasant households out of poverty. The research shows that peasant households overcoming poverty have strong ties dominated by family members and neighbors and weak ties dominated by fellow villagers and village cadres as well as the development of rural e-commerce.According to research, poverty alleviation farmers have strong ties based on family members and neighbors, weak ties based on fellow villagers and village cadres, and weak ties extended by rural e-commerce development. The strong tie based on family and neighbors is the most solid support system for the poverty-stricken farmers.Although the communication mode and meeting frequency between the poverty-stricken farmers and the strong relationship have changed with the migration of some villagers, the role of the strong relationship network still exists, but the change is the farmers' own view of this relationship. For weak ties, farmers are more likely to get instrumental support such as jobs, school opportunities and income, reflecting the role of weak ties network in heterogeneous resources.Due to the differences in the awareness and ability of using resources, farmers lack initiative and motivation to acquire new resources in the construction of weak relationship network, resulting in their weak relationship network cannot be expanded. In combination with the research and contribution of social work in poverty alleviation ability, the author proposes corresponding countermeasures, including consolidating the strong relationship network of peasant households overcoming poverty, extending their weak relationship network and strengthening emotional support and instrumental support system,in order to improve the ability of peasant households overcoming poverty to obtain resources through social network. In the paper, the author aims to help the peasant households overcoming poverty realize the importance of strong and weak relationship networks for individual development and provide rational thinking for individuals in dealing with social relations so as to achieve more harmonious collaboration and reciprocity in interaction and accumulate resources for the construction of their own human resources and social resources.
