In October 2020,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council published the "Overall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Evaluation in the New Era",which clearly stated in the general requirements to "better the result-based evaluation and strengthen the process-based evaluation." "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school,as a key curriculum for the implementation of the fundamental task of morality education which evaluation is important on,is obliged to fulfill this requirement even more.As a formative evaluation in classroom teaching,instant class appraisal can provide timely feedback on students' learning status and provide immediate guidance on students' thoughts and behaviors,which is benefit to improve the effectiveness of class teaching and promote students' moral development.However,in the practice of instant class appraisal,there are still some problems such as one-sided evaluation content and single evaluation method,which leads to the function of instant class appraisal cannot be fully developed.Therefore,this paper first sorted out the relevant concepts and then did an investigation of classroom instant evaluation used in "Morality and Rule of Law" of junior high school,and identified its problems and their existing causes.Based on this,proposed some strategies for optimizing the instant class appraisal used in "Morality and Rule of Law" classrooms in junior high school.This paper mainly expanded from the following aspects:The preface mainly presented the reasons and meanings of this paper,and summarized the literatures home and abroad related to this research,and finally the research ideas and approaches.The first part mainly analyzed the relevant concepts on instant class appraisal applied on "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school.First of all,it explained the definition of "Morality and Rule of Law" instant class appraisal in junior high school.Then it analyzed its characteristics such as immediacy,qualitative characteristics,and expansiveness,discussed its functions and introduced its main types based on the classifications of evaluation subjects and evaluation methods.On the basis of survey and study,the second part elaborated from the three aspects of evaluation contents,evaluation methods and evaluation focus that the current instant evaluation of "Morality and Rule of Law" classrooms in junior high schools relies on knowledge and ignores ability and emotion;and based teacher assessment and not student participation;uniform standards and lack of optimal combination of various factors.The third part presented the analysis of the existing problems of the instant class appraisal of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school from teachers,students and education impacts such as the lack of teachers' pedagogical tact,the lack of students' awareness of the subject of real-time evaluation in class,the imbalance between selective function and developmental function of academic examination and so forth.Based on the analysis of the problems existing in current classroom instant evaluation of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school and their reasons,the fourth part drew on the beneficial results obtained in the classroom instant evaluation,and proposed optimization strategies from three aspects of improving teachers' evaluation ability,cultivating students' evaluation consciousness and insisting on scientific evaluation principles.
