With the rapid development of information technology, online teaching emerges as the times require. It relieves the rigid requirements of traditional teaching on time and place, and meets the needs of cross-time and space teaching. There are more and more teaching platforms and online courses, and online teaching has also gained more and more attention.more and more development. However, some teachers are willing to try online teaching, while others are more repulsive;exploring the reasons behind this phenomenon plays an important role in effectively promoting online teaching and giving full play to the strengths of technology. As a party directly involved in teaching activities, different teachers have different intentions to carry out online teaching, which has a direct impact on the learning effect of students. Therefore,it is of high research value to "understand the specific situation and existing problems of online teaching in the current application process, and to further explore the opinions and development intentions of college teachers".This research focuses on the current development of online teaching, taking teachers in ordinary colleges and universities as the research object, based on the theory of teachers' professional development stage and the theory of planned behavior, and analyzes the factors that may affect teachers' intention to carry out online teaching. The sample data were obtained through questionnaire survey and interview. The data obtained from the questionnaire survey mainly used descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis, difference analysis and other methods to explore the influence of behavioral attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on behavioral intentions;the content collected by the interview method was mainly explored through semantic analysis. The overall intention of teachers to carry out online teaching and the degree of influence of each dimension on this intention.Through the analysis,it is found that teachers' attitude towards online teaching has a significant positive impact on their intention to carry out online teaching. The attitude includes not only the subjective value evaluation made by teachers on online teaching, but also teachers' opinions on the teaching effect that online teaching may achieve. The subjective norm also has a certain influence on the intention, but the degree of influence is much smaller than that of behavioral attitudes, and the degree of influence of perceived behavioral control is not statistically significant. However,in the interview,we learned that online teaching will bring a heavy workload to teachers.Based on the research results and conclusions of the questionnaire survey and interview, the corresponding suggestions are put forward for the further promotion of online teaching. It is recommended that administrators improve the use standards in platform construction and resource construction, improve platform functions, add innovative elements to online classrooms, and gradually promote online teaching in a planned, hierarchical and focused manner. It is recommended that teachers ensure that the purpose of online teaching is to improve the teaching effect, rather than just replace traditional face-to-face teaching, before starting online teaching. In addition,it is recommended that teachers comprehensively weigh the applicability of online teaching in combination with the nature of the course, class size and other factors, give priority to live classroom teaching in the way of development, and pay attention to the flexible switching of teaching activities and the novelty of teaching modes.
