Proverbs are the crystallization of folk culture,the essence of language culture,and the high-quality materials for language learning.However,teachers and students often ignore the importance of proverbs in practical teaching.The clever use of proverbs in classroom teaching is not only conducive to students' oral communication and writing,which can stimulate students' interest in learning,but also conducive to students' understanding of traditional culture.Proverb is an important direction that should be paid attention to in Mongolian language teaching.This paper studies how to use proverbs to improve Mongolian language teaching by investigating the compilation and teaching of proverbs in Mongolian language textbooks in junior middle schools.This thesis consists of introduction,text(three chapters)and conclusion.The introduction briefly introduces the significance,purpose and general situation of the research.The first chapter is based on the definition,nature,type of proverbs and the relationship between proverbs and Mongolian language teaching.Chapter two makes statistics of proverbs in6 textbooks of Mongolian language in junior middle school,and investigates teachers' teaching and students' learning situation through questionnaire survey.The third chapter sorted out the problems existing in the teaching of Mongolian proverbs and put forward corresponding suggestions according to the survey results.The conclusion summarizes the main points of the paper,and concludes that proverbs should not only be input as a knowledge point in Mongolian language teaching,but should actively make full use of proverbs to serve the whole teaching.
