School governance is the reform and surpassing of traditional school management methods.The modernization of school governance cannot be separated from the participation of multiple stakeholders.Rural teachers are an important participant in the governance of rural schools.The participation of rural teachers in school governance is an inherent requirement of the modernization of school governance.This research is based on the internal logic of "co-governance-rule of law-good governance",and takes the triangular framework of governance structure "governance body-governance object-governance mechanism" as the analytical framework.This study systematically studies the basic elements of rural teachers' participation in school governance,and uses this framework to analyze the current situation of rural teachers' participation in school governance.At the same time,the influencing factors of rural teachers' participation in school governance are explored based on Stoker's C.L.E.A.R model of participatory governance.Both of them provide the basis for putting forward the practice path of rural teachers' participation in school governance.This study adopts literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and other research methods to investigate and study the current situation of rural teachers' participation in school governance in C District of S City.By investigating rural teachers' participation status,ways of participation,content and degree of participation,and the impact of different demographic variables,teachers' subjective factors and school internal factors on rural teachers' participation,the overall situation of current rural school teachers' participation is truly presented.Consider the causal relationship between the listed predictors and the participation of rural teachers,and conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of rural teachers' participation and the factors that affect rural teachers' participation.Combining the survey results and interview analysis,the author summarizes the status of rural teachers' participation in school governance from two aspects:(1)Participation status: in school governance,the overall participation enthusiasm of rural teachers is not high,the participation time and power are limited,and the participation knowledge and experience are insufficient;(2)Participation process: the way of rural teachers' participation is a mere formality and lack of institutional provisions;The content of rural teachers' participation is mostly related to their own interests,and is also limited by their personal participation knowledge and ability;The participation of teachers in rural school governance is generally in a poor state.The actual participation of rural teachers in various school affairs has not reached deep participation,and the overall actual participation is lower than the expected participation.In addition,the author also conducted independent samples T test and one-way analysis of variance on the differences in the actual participation of rural teachers under different demographic characteristics.The results show that differences in gender,teaching age,professional title,position,and source of teachers lead to unequal participation of rural teachers.Through multiple linear regression analysis,it is found that teachers' subjective factors such as job burnout,geographical and school identity,psychological safety,participation willingness,participation ability,and school internal factors including participation channels,participation requirements,participation feedback,and school organizational atmosphere have different influences on rural teachers' participation in school development affairs,personnel affairs,education and teaching affairs,and logistical support affairs.Finally,based on the analysis of the current situation and influencing factors,combined with the theoretical analysis framework,the author puts forward the practical path of rural teachers' participation in school governance from three levels of school governance subject,school governance object,and school governance mechanism.First of all,school administrators should actively participate in job ability training,change leadership styles,strengthen rural teachers' awareness and knowledge of democratic participation,and improve the ability of rural teachers to participate in governance.Secondly,schools should clarify the content,rights and responsibilities of rural teachers' participation,and determine the participants in school governance based on teachers' interests,abilities and expectations.Third,schools should improve teachers' participation institutions and various systems for rural teachers' participation,and create a cultural atmosphere of democratic participation in rural schools.
